    Looks like another good Sicce product. Just one suggestion though, if you're planning to hold up a black product you should wear a light colored shirt. It's hard to see the details of the product.

    • @thisbechris
      @thisbechris 19 дней назад +2

      I was going to say the same thing. Black product, plus black shirt, plus black background is not ideal. Still appreciate the video!

      I do not need this right now, but will buy it in the future for sure. At Last a small internal filter with magnets!!!

      It looks like a great filter. I do agree with others that it's a bot hard to see the parts due to black color of background.
      Thank you

    That magnet retention system is such an improvement over suction cups that I'm now considering one of these. I'm so sick of suction cups.

  • @angiebear8727
    @angiebear8727 19 дней назад +3

    Love the magnet. IMO it’s a vast improvement upon suction cups which wear out over time. Have one of these type on left side of my 50 gallon and a hob on the right side(opposite corners). Creates a circular flow and keeps the water nice and clear. Also love the fact that it’s self priming. That’s a must for me as I’ve mentioned before. ❤

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  19 дней назад

      For sure - the suction cups only work for a short time and it's impossible to get the filter re-attached once removed. Such a pain.

    I own three Shark Pro 500s. I got them in my two 29-gallon aquariums and a 20-gallon. I love the spray bar feature. It sounds like a fountain in my house.

    On the Venturi system, the little valve on the end is adjustable, so you can turn it a bit and get more bubbles.

    I love that you do initial reviews and especially important; long term reviews. Lots of customers fall in love quickly with a product initially. You see lots of 5 star reviews . A year later is when the real reviewing begins. Performance and durability get hard looks.

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  19 дней назад +1

      I totally agree. It's what happens after a year or more that matters most.

    Just got SICCE shark ADV from SICCE there awesome! It’s in my 75g with a sponge filter. I believe it’s the 47g older model. They are sending me some newer models to try on my other tanks I’ve been with marineland for years but ready to run just sponge filters and the SICCEs. They are doing awesome thanks to PRIME TIME for recommending them and thanks to SICCE for making badass filters and helping me out. Nearly 30 tanks I need to put filters in for all my Pleco breeding tanks/community tanks etc stoked for the journey

    Thank you! I read about them a few weeks ago, and I was hoping you would talk about it! I think I'm sold. 😄 Do you by chance have a video for rookies like me that explains the venturi system and attachments like the Shark has, and what types of situations they work best in?

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  19 дней назад +1

      I don't but they work well in just about every situation.

    I have a shark pro 900 in my 50 gallon discus tank and it is amazing. I can control the flow so my tank is healthy and yet my discus are not being blown all over the tank. Sicce makes good stuff.

    I’m interested! I’ve always been an avid sponge filter user because I like the fact that it won’t overflow/ leak onto the floor. If this has the same quality I’d love better mechanical filtration!

    Seems like a great filter especially the smaller 250 unit for nano tanks. But is this shrimp safe?

      Maybe? The sponge is right on the other side of the slots?

    Love the magnetic mount. Wish more manufacturers used that instead of suction cups. Is the flow adjustable?

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  18 дней назад

      I agree. It doesn’t have an adjustable flow so that’s something to keep in mind.

    Hey, certainly good display of the filter, but when the filter and everything else is black it's not easy to see what you're showing... unfortunately 😉

    Do you think the slots on the side would be problematic for fry or shrimp?

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics

      Probably not because there is sponge right on the other side.

  • @robertwayman7974

    Having the 250 with the sponge filters media in side, would it be safe for a shrimp tank ?
