It is not great. Out of curiosity I brushed only fronts of my teeth and still I got 100% score. This is a huge dissapointment. Also AI coaching crashes so many times. I have 1.5y old samsung phone and app says my phone does not have capability to operate AI coaching properly LOL! :/ IDK the price of this but I would not pay more than £100. Still I prefer my Philips Sonicare because is way, way quiet!
@MrCanela1000 use degreaser to wash your hands and bleach wash your mouth before you start brushing your teeth. you must be a disgustingly dirty person to discolor an OralB within a week!

This is more convenient and updates you real time whilst your brushing. If you want the best I guess this is the way to go. The Genius 8000 is good on its own, if it serves you well and it satisfies you then keep it.
I loved it but 1 week later the toothbrush just didnt want to turn on ... I dont know .. I dont have to wash the toothbrush or what?? Now I have to swop It for another one..
Same thought here before I used it. It really did clean well though and the live guidance helps a lot to see what you are missing. I don’t hate on that assessment and if it’s not for you that’s totally understandable
Danny Winget I actually use it my own for about six months now. I like the gum protection thing and all those different modes are great of course. Still, for people not being able to afford it, will see exact same results with the cheap version😊 Edit: btw, I‘m from Germany, they sell this product as „Genius 10000“, since 2018. Just to let you know😉

Currently, this is a bit of a yes/no answer. The app for the Genius X may well be updated to properly support multiple users, but the current version of the app for the current Genius models does not have this functionality. You can sort of 'fudge' it with the current app though. What you would need to do is going into the settings and turn off automatic session syncing (Settings -> toothbrush handle -> Automatic Session Syncing “off”). With this setup, all users can use the one handle in combination with their individual smartphone app for recording their tooth brushing sessions. However, any tooth brushing session that take place in the absence of the app will not appear in their statistics and will be lost..
Glad I’m not the only one as I thought I was doing something wrong. AI recognition will work for a few seconds (sometimes not at all) then it’ll stop all together. BT is still connected too cuz I checked my phone settings while in session.

I canceled my genius 9600 order to go with this. Not having to use a camera sounds so worth it

This toothbrush system looks interesting, I will be keeping an eye out for the launch.

I got mine from my dentist and just gotta say I LOVE IT, I would recommend it if your looking for a electric toothbrush.

No one uses the apps on these toothbrushes. The white ones also get nasty looking after a few years. You're better off buying the black one.

The app is good since most people usually miss an area when they are brushing
I have a black model with black cross Action heads. Which is cool that Oral B makes a matching head for black brush handles.
The App will make a users teeth feel and look cleaner, than just following the quad pacer timer.
You used the gum massager for this video instead of the e brushing tip!

All electric toothbrush brush heads are soft. Oral B and Phillips have extra soft heads.

But the only thing the app will sinc would be the brushing time.
Standard OralB electric toothbrush does the same (brushing your teeth properly) - costs 150 bucks less.
