Really lovely interpretation Frano, well done and thanks! My dad plays the saxophone on the original soundtrack (Dick Morrissey), I listen to the Love Theme from Bladerunner every now and then when I miss him ;)
Indeed Vangelis work on Blade Runner was Astonishing to say the least. Most people dont realize just how much of his music and performance is in the film. its not simply the musical tracks that he made, he also created all the scoring and foley. much of the background sounds voices and all varied elements is him. his samples and arrangements. He gave the city of LA life, a third character as they say.. Without him BladeRunner well.. wouldn't be BladeRunner. and to marry his music with such incredible visuals. I tell ya BR is a film i can watch on a daily basis. It certainly reflects much of my life. past and present. Nothing was more incredible than walking the streets of Manhattan at night with the soundtrack playing in ear. talk about living and breathing within the film in realtime. memories. as for this cover.. cant believe you pulled it off so well. gave it somewhat of a flamenco twist. but it works so well. hats off to you. that was no easy task because its designed with the slurry nature of wind instruments and its very hard to translate such emotion thru the immediacy of strumming guitar strings. bravo.
Yes upto all these years I am surprised he is the only player who nailed it and there's extremely few other covers. It's one of the best performances I have ever heard. The day I play it as beautiful as him perhaps my journey as guitarist will end.
And talking about soundtrack yes...most of my favs are those music that many people don't know off and blade runner is definitely one of them that I listen every day. It reflects the very sole of loneliness present in cities
If music ever told a story without lyrics, this one has my vote! Turning a classic in to a masterpiece. Its as much what is between the notes..pure dynamics and heart..bravo!!
Not sure if you know who King Crimson is (was) anyway i hope you get to hear an amazing guitar cover of their song: starless and bible black that is on you tube..i have met Robert Frip, writer and guitar player of band/song..but this guy plays every instrument on guitar..mind numbing skilz like yours lol anywho hope u catch it. It is just titled..starless (abridged) - King Crimson
Great stuff Buddy! Very evocative. Funny thing I'd often wondered how you'd do with a slide seeing as you like to coax more and more beautifil sounds out of the old orange box. Very beautiful and thoughtful performance.
My handsome Frano, this was absolutely beautiful! I love it and had to turn up the speakers to enjoy every note you made. I love watching you play your music my guapo and replayed this one 5 times. I was about to go to bed and I'm glad I saw this first. For now I will have a beautiful dream with you in it because you are so fresh in my mind. Thanks and please keep safe my friend.❤️😍🤩🥰
Hi Frano, You radiate great self-confidence. One could believe you play purely for your own pleasure. That makes listening just as much a pleasure for me. BTW: The sound was great. Who did the recording? It's really worth plugging in the expensive headphones. Thanks for sharing.

You captured all the nuances and emotion of the original score, and made it your own. Wonderful to listen.
I won’t see or hear anything more beautiful than this today. Not this week. Not even for a long time…
Wow. Just wow.
The most incredible version I have ever heard...

Kudos to my dad who's making the sound :)
You've done a mans job Sir!
"Too bad she wont live... But then who does... !"
Beautiful! Wish the guitar pickup system was a bit better to capture the acoustic sound more as it sounds a bit more electronic with current setup.
Is there a tab for this? Thanks!
