So identify with the praise in the midst of warfare. When my daughter was a 4 month old baby, we found out she had an issue when I took her for her 4 month check up. The MD said it was probably a brain tumor. Her soft spot was bulging and her eyes couldn’t look up. I was sent to the children’s hospital in Atlanta. When I got into my car as I started to pray, the Lord said praise me. I put in a Sandy Patty cassette. This was back in the day. The first song was Let There Be Praise. I know that song by heart. I sang it all the way to the hospital. I had complete peace the entire time. It turned out to be hydrocephalus. The pediatrician gave me a laundry list of things that would be wrong with her. Mental retardation, never able to walk. She is 34, and totally normal. She’s married and is a veterinarian technician. She LOVES animals.

Praise God!!!! Reminds me of David after his son died he went right after to worship! I was hit with sickness yesterday, I had prayed throughout. I decided to worship God in the shower directly after throwing up in the shower in a trash can. I slept and the stomach bug was gone. Now my 3 year old son has it :(
I do think it’s spiritual as we had a family 4th of July party I wasn’t sure we should be at or not so I’ve asked God several times. And even thought if we get sick that’s and easy out. And we sure did. It was a very random sickness, don’t know anyone else with it…. Weird.
Same!!, when our son Kap was 2 we lost him in the Montana wilderness for hours! and it was night fall and i didnt use my authority at first i panicked, but i could hear the Lord saying I have him...im like what do you mean you have him? Then i just obeyed my husband and stood in the tent and said a promise the Lord had given me outloud to the Lord . I was like Lord you said no evil shall befall me... and within 2 minutes. They were screaming WE FOUND HIM! PRAISE THE LORD!
Also I used to listen to so many crappy podcasts with almost 2hrs of duration. Don’t ever shy away from 1hr podcast, is such a blessing to hear it

Can you expand on what she said that God is outside of time and therefore when we pray it affects future and past generations? Took our family on a whole discussion about it. We would love to hear this explained further. Thank you!
One of our best weapons is to know the Bible well. That means reading and studying it cover to cover. You need to repeat 100 times over. That way when your beliefs are challenged, you can defend them with scripture.

My God, I started this prayer last week, God told me to share online - even with download for the generational curses options to people filled in the prayer - but I was like “oh no, I don’t have the Beveres plataform” and now is heere! Ha for me… it’s a very good lesson I will carry. 😊

As someone that has begun the work on working through generational strongholds through parenting, you will get zero arguments from me for having more discussions on the matter and diving deeper. Also, speaking in tongues was introduced to me as a child as something to be feared. As I've gotten deeper in my walk with God, I'm more open to receiving any gift He has for me. Would love to hear more on the gift of tongues. ❤ Thank y'all for everything you do.

You mentioned that leaving your lineage is small. I currently have no contact with my family because there was a lot of abuse. It has actually enlarged me to walk away. It's not always small to leave. Sometimes you have no choice you either stay and die or leave and live. Most people and I know myself never want this option so those who have left usually have left because they have no other choice but to leave. My heart is open to return if the abuse stops and there is repentance. I think it's very important in the church to support abuse victims who have left abusive families.

I think Addison and Juli have a softer, Hollywood version of Spiritual warfare. I grew up reading "Pigs in the Parlor", " In this present darkness", Derek Prince, etc... I lived on a third world country, and I saw things many Christians in the US don't even know exist.

Though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV)

But praying in the spirit does mean praying in tongues?? 1Cor14:14 "If I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays "
