  • By or after Kalle Bodin, one of four very musical brothers.
He lived in a little cottage in Esarby, near to Göksby where Eric Sahlström later lived.
Kalle Bodin played the older kind of nyckelharpa, the silverbas, only suitable for the keys of C and G and he was an experienced player for dancing. He was an auctioneer and had the reputation of using doubtful words. He was also known for his ability of setting the kerosene feed on stationary engines. When the settings were done and he was leaving he told the men not to touch the screws. But, of course, they wanted to improve the settings - the engine stopped and they had to call for Kalle Bodin again.
His daughter Agnes lived with her husband her whole life in the cottage. She was a famous chiropractor attracting patients from afar but she did not play.
