The cost to return a Pelican product back for warranty makes them a throwaway

Are any if these collapsible so it can be packed in a suitcase?

Not sure the point of these? Soft coolers need to be collapsible so they can be compacted after the contents are exhausted. These are virtually rigid! For 8-9 day canoe trips I use a soft pair which nest, so I start with two full coolers and then as supplies are consumed, consolidate my food and ice into the smaller one, and then double its R value by putting it inside the larger one. When both are empty, I'm down to my bear barrel with a 'Reflectix' liner and cover. Still eating steak and drinking ice cold beer on day 7.

You’re right on bro. I have the RTIC and May return it. There is no point in it being soft. Lol

only reason is weight reduction that I can see....when I look at the Yeti 24 Roadie and the soft shell Flip 18, I cannot see why a soft side is $50 more for less room

@@brianbanks3044 maybe so. However this 30 Can from RTIC is not exactly paper weight but maybe vs a hard one it would be. Fair enough
