The 8 is a great choice! It's the one I kept of the 3 I reviewed. Perfect for a two person picnic, but for one person it's not overkill and still works great as a daily driver lunch kit for work.
Get one! I love mine. If you use the link provided in the video description it will help my channel out. Let me know if you do use it! Here is the link again: hoply.io/YETICoolers
Hard to say...the 8 is just large enough to pack a picnic for 2. But it gets tight quick. The 12 is definitely going to be your friend if you have 2-4 people in your crew and you're packing drinks and snacks for them all.
Looked at one in store, the insulation in the lid doesn't meet the insulation in the case. Therefore there is a huge temp transfer area at the Zip. Which can't be waterproof imo
Spent $250 on this yeti. The zipper immediately started fraying. Yeti‘s response pay for shipping to send it in and wait for 2 to 3 weeks to have a replacement sent out. I didn’t spend $250 on a lunchbox so I could go without it for 2 to 3 weeks and then pay this Ship your defective product back to you. In my opinion, don’t buy it. It’s not worth it. The retail store should take care of this for you with yeti. Why does Jenni put the burden on the customer for warranty items?
Thanks for the thorough review of the different sizes. Really swaying towards the 8 since just needing a smaller, more portable option at times.

Literally just found this channel. Been wanting one of these hopper flips fur awhile and then I see a brand new video? It's gotta be a sign.

Good review
I don’t ever use ice I just use the yeti ice packs, and it keeps my drinks cold for over 12 hours… I’m a home daily truck driver
Yup,same here. Maybe some ice on top to scoop into a drink though. ;)
Been thinking of getting the the hopper 12 for the past week or the 24 roadie
What did you decide on?
@@TestingYETI I got the hopper flip 12 with the 6 L attachment and the 36oz bottle attachment also with the large ice and so much more
@@TestingYETI thx to your review I chose the 12 and bought the Roadie 24 for my son since he works in the oil fields
Is it worth owning both a flip 8 and 12?

That’s too bad. Where did you purchase?
