- As I haven't been able to work on my house renovation lately I am sharing a trip I did to Jordan three years ago. It was full of adventures, so many that I had to make two parts. In this first part, which is the first four days in Jordan I went to:
00:50 Day 1 - evening in Amman
06:12 Day 2 - dipping my toes in the Dead Sea for the first time
07:59 Day 3 - Dead Sea but in a more pleasant part
12:24 Day 4 - more Dead Sea as in Chrystal Beach and Wadi Mujib
20:30 Day 4 - driving to Dana village and stopping by to see Kerak Castle halfway
22:27 Day 5 - hiking in Dana Valley
I hope I get to travel more like this in the future and to take you with me. This channel will however always be a renovation channel, just with some travelling sprinkled in here. I hope you agree, but maybe watch this before you make up your mind ;-)
As for questions about travelling in Jordan. You might wonder what it's like to travel there as a solo woman. I found it very safe and pleasant, the bedouins in Petra were the only ones bothering me and they were annoying everyone (as we were probably annoying them, I will talk more about this in my next video). I didn't talk to many women as I hardly came in contact with any, most Jordanian people I had contact with as a tourist were men. I met the female friend that was crashing at Mo's place, but I didn't have time for a longer conversation. But the men I met were very respectful, kind and helpful.
For decades Jordan has been a safe haven in a region that has been volatile. I read Queen Noor of Jordan's biography while travelling there, that shed some light on this. The royal family in Jordan seem to work hard to bring peace and prosperity to Jordan. But I was also told by people that I met that there is a problem with corruption and the democracy is a bit shallow as the politicans can be replaced by the king if he so pleases. With the war raging between Palestine and Israel and murders/attacks spreading around its neighbouring countries there is no telling what the future holds. If you plan to go to Jordan yourself in the near future, make sure to check how the current safety situation is like.
Enjoyed the vlog! You took me to the places I would never dreamed of 😊😊 watching from Dar es Salaam Tanzania 🇹🇿❤❤
Ooh visiting Tanzania is one thing I dream of. One day 😇🙄😎
I really respect you traveling solo as a woman. I did this in Norway for 3 weeks and loved it but everyone was so worried about me. I plan to do it again!
Travelling solo is fantastic in my opinion, I would never experience Jordan as I did if I had travelled in a group or even with one more person. I also travelled in Norway solo last summer, but I had many friends that I visited along the way in both Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo. I lived in Norway actually for 7 years, so it feels like home fore me :-)
Absolutely gorgeous episode, your content is simply stunning! Storytelling and filming are flawless my friend!
Thank you! Wow that means a lot as this was the first time I actually filmed something like this. I don't work as much on the storytelling in my normal vlogs (I probably should though) but this adventure was more exciting so I put more effort to it
Loved this video as much as I love your house renovations! 🩵🙋🏼♀️
Thank you! I knew some wouldn't be interested in travelling but for those like you I wanted to show something 😄
Surreal, man you are a daredevil! This was so amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Well I do enjoy adventure, it doesn't have to be dangerous 😉
She's a woman
Tack!
Thank you 🫶🫶
Many years back we had a client from Jordan and they had some of the most beautiful furniture. They has this cabinet it that had been handled down to them that was 500 yes they told me 500 yrs old it was gorgeous. I wish I had a picture of it 1 it probably be rude 2 no cell phones like we have now . Also , after we installed the cabinets they invited us to dinner omg it was so delicious. I still think of the food they made
I wasn't going to watch, but so glad I did - fabulous.
It was a fabolous trip 😁
@@old_school_moaboa You are one brave young woman - I would expect you had someone with you at all times - just the same - most of us have trouble walking down a dark street at night.
The fact that you were excited that the water was cold 🤣
Well after two days of bathing in the dead sea. It felt like bathing in a warm fish soup that was too salty 😆
Thank you for sharing! You’re really brave, I would have to have someone with me!
Solo travelling is a different sort of travel, I am sure everyone can do it but it is probably done in steps. A great first step is to go to cinema and be able to eat solo in a restaurant 😁
Thanks for showing your trip, so amazing! Love your channel and your renovations 🎉
I am glad you like it, it's a bit different than my usual content
Waoo but a bit scariing when you went under the waterfall. I was worried thinking of if a stone could be carried with the water from above and fall down onto your head! 😮
I just wanted to say that becoming paramedic is of course your choice but after watching several videos I can say that you are very demanding from yourself and sooo caring for others. This conclusion was drawn on a basis of your volunteer being 'as snug as a bug in a rug'
Another character feature to be followed 😊 And of course pure gold in paramedic ❤
Oh you give me to much credit I think 😬 I choose medic because that's where they lacked most people and it would feel better to save lives than take it, I think that's more a selfish motivation 😔 it's for the Home Guard so it's a very little likely scenario, most people don't think Sweden is threatened. But the Home Guard would also help with civil security like a natural disaster and such
@@old_school_moaboaSincere and modest then 🙂
Thanks for reply. Good day !
Почему Вы не боитесь?😮
🤣🤣 I would probably be afraid if I was confronted with something scary? That just didn't happen in Jordan. Worry on the other hand, that's something I rarely do, I think that's far more important and more restraining for people. I just don't consider unlikely negative outcomes 🤷♀️
Next time if you go to Jordan, cross the sea and come to Israel. Also Jordan have beatiful sights, Israel looks the same, almost, becouse its on the erea. Now Israel is in war with Palestiniens, but it could be paradise here.Israel is in peace agreement with Jordan.😊
Lets hope for peace for these lands.
@@renata-s5b thank you
committing Gen o cide isn't a w ar.
you should have wore a hat😢
I did, sometimes. I always forget 🙄
