Hi Julie, I appreciate the fact that you alternate the yarns with your one hand instead of holding the yarn in two hands. I also have not been successful with holding yarn in two hands for colourwork and it is really nice to know I'm not alone on that 😊. Thanks for the great tutorial, I definitely learned from it and can't wait to tackle my next colourwork project!
Would you recommend sizing up a needle as well? I usually use 2.25 mm which is fine for vanilla socks but for colorwork I have issues with tightness like you said around the ankle.
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.
Hi Janet!

You are so welcome! So glad you found it helpful! 🥰
Awesome tips.
Thanks Julie this video is really helpful. I am about to attempt my second pair of colorwork socks, and these tips will be put to good use.
So glad it was helpful 🥰
Hi Julie, I’m about to cast on a new pair of socks this weekend. It’s not colour work but I found your tutorial really interesting and helpful x
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Hi, can you work color work on DPNs? I prefer knitting socks on DPNS, so I am wondering how that would work out

Yes, absolutely! You can always go up a needle size or two if you have very tight tension
Hi Julie. I am about to try magic loop again. You are using magic loop now, correct?
Yes, correct
If you need a refresher on magic loop I also have a tutorial for that 😊
What is the gauge ... I struggle with that and don't want to start with the wrong needles!
All the details are in the blog ☺️
