As a christian lebanese arab myself, I am always intrigued by Biblical prophecy related to us and the modern regions of the Middle East. Arabs are mentioned by name a thousand years before Islam in the Old Testament multiple times as well. Also, Isaiah 60 is referencing how the Cedar wood from Lebanon was used to build the Temple of Solomon

Also Lebanon according to the Book of Yehoshua chapter 1:4 is part of the Holy Land to be given to all the sons of Israel not just the Yehudah from who the Yehudim comes from...

My husband and I have just discovered your wonderful site and we are really thrilled with it. You speak positively with respect for all and we have certainly discovered things we have known nothing of. We are Catholics living in New Zealand - we're kind of like the last station on earth and we are somewhat sheltered distanced from the rest of the world. We long to see the events you speak of come to fruition on God's earth. We are particularly shocked and heartbroken to observe the 'decline' of America as a nation. Three of my children were born in Boston and I would never have believed then, in the 1970s that this once great nation would begin this descent into neo communism with such hatred shown towards Christians and the slaughtering of precious babies in the womb. How dare they legislate the murder of new-born babies. We need to be praying for courage for Christians, including myself, to stand up against this culture of death and evangelise as the early Christians did, even though martyrdom was so often the outcome for them. it is surely true that 'Christianity is formed by the blood of martyrs. Alleluia and God's blessings upon you all.

In addition to Jesus’ specific claims about Himself, His disciples also acknowledged the deity of Christ. They claimed that Jesus had the right to forgive sins-something only God can do-as it is God who is offended by sin (Acts 5:31; Colossians 3:13; Psalm 130:4; Jeremiah 31:34). In close connection with this last claim, Jesus is also said to be the one who will “judge the living and the dead” (2 Timothy 4:1). Thomas cried out to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Paul calls Jesus “great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13) and points out that prior to His incarnation Jesus existed in the “form of God” (Philippians 2:5-8). God the Father says regarding Jesus: “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever” (Hebrews 1:8). John states that “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God” (John 1:1). Examples of Scriptures that teach the deity of Christ are many (see Revelation 1:17, 2:8, 22:13; 1 Corinthians 10:4; 1 Peter 2:6-8; Psalm 18:2, 95:1; 1 Peter 5:4; Hebrews 13:20), but even one of these is enough to show that Christ was considered to be God by His followers.
Jesus is also given titles that are unique to YHWH (the formal name of God) in the Old Testament. The Old Testament title “redeemer” (Psalm 130:7; Hosea 13:14) is used of Jesus in the New Testament (Titus 2:13; Revelation 5:9). Jesus is called Immanuel-“God with us”-in Matthew 1. In Zechariah 12:10, it is YHWH who says, “They will look on me, the one they have pierced.” But the New Testament applies this to Jesus’ crucifixion (John 19:37; Revelation 1:7). If it is YHWH who is pierced and looked upon, and Jesus was the one pierced and looked upon, then Jesus is YHWH. Paul interprets Isaiah 45:22-23 as applying to Jesus in Philippians 2:10-11. Further, Jesus’ name is used alongside God’s in prayer “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2). This would be blasphemy if Christ were not deity. The name of Jesus appears with God’s in Jesus’ commanded to baptize “in the name [singular] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19; see also 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Actions that can be accomplished only by God are credited to Jesus. Jesus not only raised the dead (John 5:21, 11:38-44) and forgave sins (Acts 5:31, 13:38), He created and sustains the universe (John 1:2; Colossians 1:16-17). This becomes even clearer when one considers YHWH said He was alone during creation (Isaiah 44:24). Further, Christ possesses attributes that only deity can have: eternality (John 8:58), omnipresence (Matthew 18:20, 28:20), omniscience (Matthew 16:21), and omnipotence (John 11:38-44).
Now, it is one thing to claim to be God or to fool someone into believing it is true, and something else entirely to prove it to be so. Christ offered many miracles as proof of His claim to deity. Just a few of Jesus’ miracles include turning water to wine (John 2:7), walking on water (Matthew 14:25), multiplying physical objects (John 6:11), healing the blind (John 9:7), the lame (Mark 2:3), and the sick (Matthew 9:35; Mark 1:40-42), and even raising people from the dead (John 11:43-44; Luke 7:11-15; Mark 5:35). Moreover, Christ Himself rose from the dead. Far from the so-called dying and rising gods of pagan mythology, nothing like the resurrection is seriously claimed by other religions, and no other claim has as much extra-scriptural confirmation.
There are at least twelve historical facts about Jesus that even non-Christian critical scholars will admit:
1. Jesus died by crucifixion.
2. He was buried.
3. His death caused the disciples to despair and lose hope.
4. Jesus’ tomb was discovered (or was claimed to be discovered) to be empty a few days later.
5. The disciples believed they experienced appearances of the risen Jesus.
6. After this, the disciples were transformed from doubters into bold believers.
7. This message was the center of preaching in the early Church.
8. This message was preached in Jerusalem.
9. As a result of this preaching, the Church was born and it grew.
10. Resurrection day, Sunday, replaced the Sabbath (Saturday) as the primary day of worship.
11. James, a skeptic, was converted when he also saw the resurrected Jesus.
12. Paul, an enemy of Christianity, was converted by an experience which he believed to be an appearance of the risen Jesus.
Even if someone were to object to this specific list, only a few are needed to prove the resurrection and establish the gospel: Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and appearances (1 Corinthians 15:1-5). While there may be some theories to explain one or two of the above facts, only the resurrection explains and accounts for them all. Critics admit that the disciples claimed they saw the risen Jesus. Neither lies nor hallucinations can transform people the way the resurrection did. First, what would they have had to gain? Christianity was not popular and it certainly did not make them any money. Second, liars do not make good martyrs. There is no better explanation than the resurrection for the disciples’ willingness to die horrible deaths for their faith. Yes, many people die for lies that they think are true, but people do not die for what they know is untrue.
In conclusion, Christ claimed He was YHWH, that He was deity (not just “a god” but the one true God); His followers (Jews who would have been terrified of idolatry) believed Him and referred to Him as God. Christ proved His claims to deity through miracles, including the world-altering resurrection. No other hypothesis can explain these facts. Yes, the deity of Christ is biblical.
The word gospel means “good news,” which is the message of forgiveness for sin through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. It is essentially God’s rescue plan of redemption for those who will trust in His divine Son in order to be reconciled to a just and holy God. The essential content of this saving message is clearly laid out for us in the Bible.
In the apostle Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, he lays out the content of the gospel message, “Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
In this passage, we see three essential elements of the gospel message. First, the phrase “died for our sins” is very important. As Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The reality of sin needs to be acknowledged by all who approach the throne of God for salvation. A sinner must acknowledge the hopelessness of his guilt before God in order for forgiveness to take place, and he must understand that the “wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Without this foundational truth, no gospel presentation is complete.
Second, the person and work of Christ are indispensable components of the gospel. Jesus is both God (Colossians 2:9) and man (John 1:14). Jesus lived the sinless life that we could never live (1 Peter 2:22), and, because of that, He is the only one who could die a substitutionary death for the sinner. Sin against an infinite God requires an infinite sacrifice. Therefore, either man, who is finite, must pay the penalty for an infinite length of time in hell, or the infinite Christ must pay for it once. Jesus went to the cross to pay the debt we owe to God for our sin, and those who are covered by His sacrifice will inherit the kingdom of God as children of the king (John 1:12).
Third, the resurrection of Christ is an essential element of the gospel. The resurrection is the proof of the power of God. Only He who created life can resurrect it after death, only He can reverse the hideousness that is death itself, and only He can remove the sting that is death and the victory that is the grave’s (1 Corinthians 15:54-55). Further, unlike all other religions, Christianity alone possesses a Founder who transcends death and who promises that His followers will do the same. All other religions were founded by men and prophets whose end was the grave.
Finally, Christ offers His salvation as a free gift (Romans 5:15; 6:23), that can only be received by faith, apart from any works or merit on our part (Ephesians 2:8-9). As the apostle Paul tells us, the gospel is “the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). The same inspired author tells us, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
These, then, are the essential elements of the gospel: the sin of all men, the death of Christ on the cross to pay for those sins, the resurrection of Christ to provide life everlasting for those who follow Him, and the offer of the free gift of salvation to all.

Christians get very excited about future prophecy. There are many ideas about what will/could happen, all of which claim to be scriptural.
Not all interpretations can be correct. That's OK, because Jesus did not command us to figure out exactly what is going to happen. Directly and in parables he told us that no one knows when he will return. Our part ass his followers is to be always ready, and busy doing his work at all times.

Hallelujah! In Acts 2, when the Holy Spirit came on the disciples and followers of Christ, among those who came to worship in Jerusalem were Arabians. They heard the disciples praising God in their own language. There’re 17 languages total. People all over the world who came to worship in Jerusalem heard the disciples speaking in the language and praising God! That alone speaks volume. My pastor was praying in tongue, an Arab man heard him and he said he was praising God in Arabic. The Holy Spirit understands all language, we just need to continue to listen to Him. God bless you.

Tribulation Suffering followed by Resurrection Glory (Daniel 12:1-3)
"At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people"

The "children of thy (Daniel's) people" (Daniel 12:1) are the oppressed "children of Israel" (Daniel 1:3)
Michael, "your (Israel's) prince", is one of the "two chief (angelic) princes" who remained faithful to God
(Daniel 10:13,21) - the other being Gabriel, Daniel's heavenly instructor (Daniel 8:16; Daniel 9:21)
"At that time" (Daniel 12:1) when "Michael shall stand up" (Daniel 12:1), i.e. fight and prevail against Israel's arch enemy (Revelation 12:7-8) "in the midst of" the Tribulation week (Daniel 9:27)
"At that time" (Daniel 12:1), Israel's arch enemy and his host will be "cast out into the earth" (Revelation 12:9) and "as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (I Peter 5:8)
"At that time" (Daniel 12:1), Israel shall face the "flood" of "the Serpent" (Revelation 12:15-16 cf. Matthew 24:15-16)

It is at THIS TIME when the Adversary "shall wear out the saints of the Most High" (Daniel 7:25) and "shall scatter the power of the holy people" (Daniel 12:7)
"At that time ... thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the Book" (Daniel 12:1 cf. Malachi 3:16-17)
Finally, "at that time", there was "heard a LOUD voice saying, NOW is come SALVATION ... for the Accuser of our brethren is cast down" (Revelation 12:10)
It is at THIS TIME that Israel's "man child" will be "caught up unto God, and His Throne" (Revelation 12:4-5 cf. Isaiah 66:6-7), i.e. the 144,000 Israelites who will be untainted by idolatry (Revelation 14:3-5 cf. Revelation 2:14,20) and whom the Lord will "keep ... from the hour of temptation (trial), which shall come upon ALL the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth" (Revelation 3:10)
The 144,000 pure Israelites, as "being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb" (Revelation 14:3-5), are represented under the figure of the "man child" (Revelation 12:4-5 cf. Isaiah 66:6-7), because under the Law it was the "first born male child" that was required to be "redeemed" for the Lord (Exodus 13:12,15)
It is at THIS TIME that Israel's HIDDEN remnant will flee to "a place prepared of God" (Revelation 12:6,14-16) in the land of Moab (Isaiah 16:4) to be protected from "the Spoiler (Antichrist)" and also shielded from the Lord's wrath upon His enemies (Isaiah 26:20-21)
It is at THIS TIME that Israel's FAITHFUL remnant who physically are unable to flee Jerusalem as warned by the Lord (Matthew 24:15-20) will be martyred for their testimony (Revelation 12:17; Revelation 13:7 cf. Revelation 2:9-10)
These are they who have "come out of GREAT TRIBULATION" (Revelation 7:14) and "OVERCAME him (Antichrist)" through DEATH (Revelation 12:11)
As Messiah promised, "he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it" (Matthew 10:39)

Israel's history is figuratively represented by three fruit trees:
NATIONALLY, she is pictured as a "VINE" brought "out of Egypt" which "filled the land" (Psalms 80:8-9)
SPIRITUALLY, she is pictured as an "OLIVE tree" (Romans 11:17,24) of which "the Gentiles have been made partakers" (Romans 15:27)
RELIGIOUSLY, she is pictured as a "FIG tree" under which Nathanael was sitting (John 1:48-50) - Nathanael, "an Israelite indeed, in whom is NO guile" (John 1:47) stood in contrast to Israel's RELIGIOUS "hypocrites" (Matthew 23:13-15,23,25,27,29) from whom the Lord (during his three year earthly ministry) "sought fruit thereon, and found NONE" (Luke 13:6-7)
The 1st half of the 70th week will comprise the rebuilding of the Temple (220 days) and the subsequent offering of the "daily sacrifice" (1040 days)
The "transgression of desolation" will stand during the reign of the False Christ for the duration of the 2nd half of the 70th week (1260 days)
Taken together - the time of the "daily sacrifice" (1040 days) and the time of the "transgression of desolation" (1260 days) combine for a total of 2300 days (Daniel 8:13-14)
Daniel is given to understand that he will "rest" (in a grave outside of Israel) and will "stand in thy lot" (land inheritance in israel) "at the end of the days" (Daniel 12:13) and so is told "to go thy way" till "the time of the end" (Daniel 12:9)Sealing of The Book until "The Time of the End" (Daniel 12:4-9)
Daniel is told to "SHUT UP the words, and SEAL the Book, even to the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 12:4)
Daniel was repeatedly told that his prophecies concerned "the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 8:17; Daniel 11:35,40), i.e. "the LAST END of the indignation: for the TIME APPOINTED shall be THE END" (Daniel 8:19)
John was given the exact opposite command: "SEAL NOT the sayings of the prophecy of this Book: for the TIME IS AT HAND" (Revelation 22:10)
The reason for the different instructions is that the apostle was physically transported by the Spirit of the Lord to the TIME of the DAY OF THE LORD and, so refers to himself as "your brother, and companion in TRIBULATION" (Revelation 1:9-10), whereas the prophet was specifically told: "Go thy way Daniel, for the words are CLOSED UP and SEALED TILL the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 12:9)
At "the TIME OF THE END ... many shall run to and fro: and knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4)
The Hebrew word "shuwt" translated "run to and fro" is very closely related to the Hebrew word "suwt" translated "turn aside", i.e. a negative expression as in:
"turn aside to lies" (Psalms 40:4)
"I hate the work of them that turn aside: it shall NOT cleave to Me" (Psalms 101:3)
This apostasy is all the more acute for our text ends with the words, "knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4)
This "KNOWLEDGE" is in reference to what "the WISE shall UNDERSTAND" and that which "NONE of the WICKED shall UNDERSTAND" (Daniel 12:10)
It's "KNOWLEDGE" of the "SURE WORD of PROPHECY ... that SHINETH in a DARK PLACE (Tribulation), UNTIL the DAY DAWN (Millenium)" (II Peter 1:19)
The "MYSTERY (SECRET) of God ... declared to His servants the PROPHETS" (Revelation 10:7 cf. Revelation 11:15) has the testimony of "Daniel the PROPHET" (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14) who spoke "by the Holy Spirit" (II Peter 1:20-21) that God's "INTERPRETATION thereof is SURE" (Daniel 2:44-45 cf. Daniel 2:26-28)
"The Man clothed in linen" occupies the central place "UPON the waters of the river" (Daniel 12:6) flanked by the "other two" - "one on THIS SIDE of the river and the other on THAT SIDE of the bank of the river" (Daniel 12:5)
"The Man clothed in linen" is "the CERTAIN MAN clothed in linen" Whom Daniel saw earlier in vision (Daniel 10:5-6) and is the SAME PERSON Whom John saw in his opening vision (Revelation 1:12-16) and Who identified Himself as the Lord (Revelation 1:17-18)
As the One Who occupies the central place ("in the MIDDLE") BETWEEN the "other two" - He is asked the question, "How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" (Daniel 12:6)
"The Man clothed in linen" answers with hands "HELD UP" to Heaven - indicative of the DIVINE swearing of an OATH (Deuteronomy 32:39-43; Revelation 10:5-7)
The answer is very specific (three and a half TIMES), i.e. three and a half YEARS - a "time" being reckoned as a "YEAR" (Daniel 4:16,23,25,32)
The time of three and a half years specifies the length of time that is alotted for when "he (Antichrist) shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people (faithful Israel)" (Daniel 12:7) during which time "he (Antichrist) shall speak GREAT (BLASPHEMOUS) words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints (faithful Israel) of the Most High" (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5-7)
This TIME will most certainly be WHEN "... for the children of thy (Daniel's) people ... there shall be a TIME OF TROUBLE, such as NEVER SINCE there was a nation EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME ..."
(Daniel 12:1), which is why the Lord reassures His own that "for the elect's sake" that TIME shall be mercifully BRIEF (Matthew 24:21-22)

So, any of you out there who are that, my brothers, my sisters in the faith, you hear what I hear and answer. Right? And the rest just doesn't matter. It only matters what God has put into our souls, and we answer that call.
Truth be known, I was raised Mormon! What were you raised? And whatever you were raised, did you feel another calling in your soul? I did. That which called me to the truth of oneness in Him, and in all of you, my brothers and sisters in the calling, which is so far removed from the things that one would imagine of this world in any way, except that which He determines. No race, no religion, no creed, no doctrine, no nothing other than what is acceptable to Him, which is to love one another as he loved us. Which means there is no separation of any kind whatsover from me or you, you or me, us or Him. We're all one and those of us to are attuned to that will reap the benefits in every way imaginable and even more according to His promises to all of us who believe, trust, and faith in Him.
God doesn't discriminate. He only looks on what is in the heart. Do you believe in Me, he says. That's all that's required. How beautiful is that?
And I just love all the truths that are being taught here. Thank you! I've been learning even so much more than I thought I already knew. It's a good thing to be open to such things. We don't know what we don't know. Good to stay open to all possibilities. Knowledge is an amazing thing, especially when it comes to the Lord! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise in all regards. I'm very much enjoying and benefitting from it!

Show me that verses where Jesus said so... don't imagine things and then say Jesus said them....
