Excellent review as always Drew! For the first time I DON'T have anything on your list! Still, I'll always hear what you have to say to see what I need to add to my collections. Keep up the great work!
Great work, as always, Drew. As a reprint fan, I was delighted to see Avengers Special/Annual 5 covered. If Silver Age Marvel reprints keep gaining steam, I just might leave my kid a valuable collection after all, ha ha. Money-saving tip -- from what I just saw on eBay, you'll find better prices if you search for "Avengers Special 5" rather than "Avengers Annual 5." Also, re: your comment about early Avengers issues not being reprinted until years later -- would you believe that Avengers issues 7 and 9 have never been reprinted in a U.S.-published floppy? Crazy.
That’s wild! Especially with the following Wonder Man has had over the years. I collect some of the reprint series, like Marvel Tales, but usually won’t pick them up for more than $5ea.
Damn, I only have the first 3 😆 I passed on an Avengers Annual #5 a couple months back because it was pretty rough (corners destroyed, spine splits, etc.) for how much the seller was asking, which was far more than $100. Personally I'd pay $100 or more _if_ the copy had few obvious defects at first glance & presented well. But a damaged spine & corner crunches/rips means no deal for more than $20-25 I think, I feel that's fair. Great list, Drew!
Thanks for watching Matthew! High prices are far to common out there right now. I know I’m not going to enjoy repricing my inventory this winter to prepare for shows early next year. 😬
Silver is definitely tougher today than it was 5-10 years ago, but thankfully, most of the Avengers issues aren’t too bad when you do find them. There are certainly some hitters, but most of the 10s/20s/30s+ are fairly affordable compared to ASM, FF, etc.
Immortus or Rama-Tut was my dilemma. I went with Rama-Tut since his first appearance wasn’t another Avengers book and the factoid that he appeared prior to Kang. Immortus is definitely part of the conversation though Lee!
Drew even broke out the purple background lights for the Kang episode!
For the thumbnail anyway! Anything from the red quadrant of colors just makes me look redder on video!

Thanks for watching Panther1! This one may be a little early, but oh well!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane Drew! Sure wish I'd bought all the AF-15 variants back in the day! 🤣
Hindsight is rough sometime isn’t it Dino? Thanks for watching!
Great 👍 show 😊😊😊

I can’t argue with that! It’s a great cover! Thanks for watching Brett!

Avengers 11 is one I would like to get. Getting pretty hard to find though.

Very well done nice choice is my question is would avengers number 10 with a person from attack be included being he really is Kang

This video would’ve been perfect, if it came out before ALL the Kang keys went up on price! 😂
Most of the big ones are way down compared to 2020/2021 pricing. If you want to collect Kang, it’s a pretty decent time to hop in.
Wait 3 months and it’s all gonna be a bargain. ❤
It’s already a bargain compared to the recent highs. It will be interesting to see how it goes post Quantumania.
