Being a tall woman makes me feel really undesirable because a lot of the guys in my high school prefer shorter girls (ranging from 5'5 and shorter). A lot of them say that tall women are "unattractive" and it kinda sucks to hear.
I got that all through high school too. Don't worry too much, because you don't want to be with that type of person anyway who will take one physical aspect about you and call you entirely "unattractive" because of it. I have found it's actually just intimidation. Mature, confident men have no problem being with a taller woman.

I myself am a 6’1” tall and a man. In high school, the prettiest girl in school was also the tallest, 5’10” tall, and although she was sweet she wasn’t very academic, so she wasn’t my type. But what I took away from that was that I really, really liked the idea of having a girl who could look me eye-to-eye and stand and dance with me shoulder-to-shoulder, regardless of high heels. I find tall girls very attractive. Just my story.
I'm 5'10 and wear heels nearly every day at the office, and I do get comments and questions from coworkers, the most frequent being, "you're already so tall...why do you wear heels?" And any woman can tell you that wearing heels isn't truly about making yourself taller, rather, it just looks better when paired with certain clothing. I can't imagine feeling the same way in flats that I do in heels while wearing a nice dress or a pencil skirt. I feel empowered by my height because frankly it forces you to confront any fears you have about standing out in the crowd. Take my advice, tall ladies: own it. Nothing is more attractive than confidence. People react to the way your feel about yourself--if you want to wear heels, wear'em! I've had way more positive responses to my height than negative. Legs for days! :)

I'm 5'11 and 16 years old. Formerly I didn't like being tall at all. But now there is a girl in my class who is 6'1 and she doesn't mind being tall and even wears high heels sometimes. That gave me confidence and now I don't mind being tall to much. Of course there are disatvantages like finding shoes in your size or trousers that are long enough but being tall is also something that makes me special. There are still times where I wish to be shorter but I can't change my height so I simply had to accept it, and now I have one thing less to worry about :)

The worst thing to say to a tall person is "look how small I am compared to you!" or "look how much taller you are than me!" Because chances are, they could be extremely self conscious about it. And the worst thing you can do is point out the differences between them, and others. Same applies for if someone is short, slim, or bigger.

I'm 5'9/176cm and I've always been insecure about my height. When I was younger I was proud that I was tall and I could reach stuff and run fast. My grandma always said I looked like a model with my long legs. But as I grew older I didn't like to be tall anymore. I feel like I am a giant and no one would ever see me as feminine and cute. I wear nice clothes and I think I look good in them (rarely heels though) but all the guys are shorter than me or just want a short girl. I feel like I would be seen by them if I was just a little bit shorter. Guys want a girl who is short and cute who they can protect. And I don't think I fit into that description.

I am the tallest in my whole year (I am in 6th class or 7th grade) and I am over a head taller than all of the boys. Like some of them are pretty tall, but I am just known as that weird tall girl... I don't remember my actual height but I will update yous with it when I find out (I can't walk rn :() but I am growing to love my height.
Believe me, I wish I was small. All of the "pretty" girls in my year are tiny. I want to be cute like them. I want to fit in. All I get asked all day is "how's the weather up there" or "do you play basketball?". NO I DONT. I am taller than my mom, my sister (she's 28), most of my aunties and a few of my uncles. My friends say that I have a personality of a tiny girl with a little but of sass, but most people are afraid to approach me as I am so intimidating! I can barely even fit in my own bed! I have always wanted to be small. I envy anyone who is small, I despise when shorter people say "oh my god I'm so tall it's taking a toll on my life I'm 5ft and I can't live anymore!"

I am learning to cope with my tallness, I am a model, singer, dancer and actress. Some people tell me you have to be "small" to be a dancer. No. I've been turned away from big acting roles because I am tall. Don't they get that I can't change who I am. People think I'm great at sports, No. I am just a projectile MAGNET. Shops never have my size. I am tall and extremely skinny and most stores think 'oh tall people can't be skinny we will not make clothes like thattt'. It's not my fault I have a high metabolism!

I'm 6'1 and a twin. So all through my teens it was just two tall girls walking to and from school etc. My height will always be one of my biggest insecurities because of petty bullying but wearing super high shoes every once in awhile have done great things for my confidence.

I'm 5'11 and 16 years old. Formerly I didn't like being tall at all. But now there is a girl in my class who is 6'1 and she doesn't mind being tall and even wears high heels sometimes. That gave me confidence and now I don't mind being tall to much. Of course there are disatvantages like finding shoes in your size or trousers that are long enough but being tall is also something that makes me special. There are still times where I wish to be shorter but I can't change my height so I simply had to accept it, and now I have one thing less to worry about :)

I'm 5'9/176cm and I've always been insecure about my height. When I was younger I was proud that I was tall and I could reach stuff and run fast. My grandma always said I looked like a model with my long legs. But as I grew older I didn't like to be tall anymore. I feel like I am a giant and no one would ever see me as feminine and cute. I wear nice clothes and I think I look good in them (rarely heels though) but all the guys are shorter than me or just want a short girl.
