    SEEK TRAINING.
    DON'T TRY TO LEARN THIS BY YOURSELF.
    Why do I say this?
    Not because I don't want you to go practice.
    But because if you try and train yourself, you will teach yourself bad habits.
    Everyone does.
    There are little things that are counterintuitive that can be really hard to train out of you once you do decide to go to training.

    One thing Trevor taught me which he didn't specifically focus on in this video is the backwards force of that initial pull to get the wing up doesn't come from your chest and definitely not from your arms it comes from your butt. Its much more powerful and smooth using body weight than arms or legs and Its the only way to get a nice even distribution of pulling force across all the lines equally and also much easier on your back and arms. In fact this goes for much of kiting, you try to load the weight on your butt as much as possible and use that to dampen out the rolling pull of the wind. Focusing on wiggling my butt ive found my kiting game improved significantly.

    While I am a beginner with only about 10 sessions of instruction, you seem like a very good instructor. Liked and Subscribed.

    It's crazy how you show what not to do yet you keep the glider flying. Then again I've literally seen you kite with your feet in Texas so I'd expect nothing less.

    Man, with my financial situation, I’d just like to get the kiting set-up and play with that for a while until I could afford the whole enchilada. Looks like fun!

    When you kite does turning around and crossing risers affect the glider behavior.

    Would you recommend the use of a kiting wing like the Ozone Roadrunner to practice (and reduce wear on flying wing)?

    • @TrevorSteele1
      @TrevorSteele1  2 года назад +2

      Yes! Ozone roadrunner is my preference!
