This was awesome! I'm so stoked to see another podcast in the DaD community - the three of you have an excellent rapport and I can't wait to see more!
Cheers, yours will always be the original DaD podcast.
podcast Arena 3v3 incoming
@@ryan6daysaweekstop the cap 😳
Dam this is a wild but amazing idea.
Happy to see you guys doing a podcast. I recommend lowering game sounds as the main content for this is the discussion, not the gameplay.
yes, I tweaked this a bit live too. Wouldn't be hard to drop it a bit lower . Ty for feedback
Hell ya
hell yeah
Oh heck yeah bud
hell yeaaa
Intro goes so unbelievably hard, and I can't believe Ryan is making an Outro too. Great first episode guys!
First Episode Finally - Sorry this took so long, we are still working out the kinks. 1h30min is not a normal length upload for me. But hey! Don't be afraid to check out www.youtube.com/@SrslySoapy and www.youtube.com/@ryan6daysaweek
Epic intro 🤙
Thank Ryan6daysaweek for this.. I completely agree!
Amazing intro.
Good episode. I agree with other comments about turning town the game sound. I'll be back for more!
Ty
Yes for Talent trees . Specialise classes after the base skills , perks and spells . With this a rework on gear adding more damage types and more resist types .
Wizard = Pyromancer / ice mage / arcane mage with specific perks , skills and damage types for spells .
Fighter = Knight / Swordsmaster / Tank with specialisations in weapons that have blunt slash and pierce damage types and various armour buffs .
Cleric = with Tank healer / Paladin / Caster with own Divine damage types maybe even a devine damage base weapon that uses will to scale .
Rogues = Thief / Stealth / assassin with own perks skills .
Ranger = Xbow master / bowyer .
Multiclassing was a bad idea and should be ditched ... not reworked . More diversity within the classes and gear while keeping and adding to class identity .
This is the way
I also think Leveling is a BULLCRAP mechanic and adds a fake power gap between New and Old players let everyone have access to a full diverse char creation from day one ... make DnD about the gear , quests and rewards along side interesting Maps and regular new content and not about grinding levels to just compete .
It will be very interesting which direction they go in.
This was great. Love that you're back in the trailer lmao! Glad that you're finally getting into some trios, and what a team! Good podcast
All the podcasts are by far the best content in the Dark and Darker community. Cheers, for yet another great podcast!
I will literally never miss an episode.
Great Stuff!
This was great!
Hell yeah new podcast! but yeah i miss multiclassing so freakin much.
TBH I wouldn't mind if they skip the talent trees idea and just add more/refine existing perks + a quest to upgrade one perk slot into a "master" perk slot. Then every perk in the game would have a master version you can center your build around. If there are enough viable perks and a way to pick a single playstyle defining master one we can just more tightly craft our own builds. No talent tree needed IMO.
At this point I don't think there's a way to keep everyone happy. I'm really interested they mentioned some much needed perk/skill updates soon.
I like your idea tho, if more things are decent or good it create a lot of variety within a class rather than needing multi or subclassing.
@@WilsonsGame Thanks! I guess the only downside is having over double the perks game-wide to balance. I'd think from a developer perspective it would save a lot of time on the front end since it's working within an existenting system. Plus it would just FEEL cool to be able to double down on whatever it is you like about a class or to shore up a weakness in your build, etc. Wizard meta? Run Barricade master perk, etc.
my morning listen every day from now on
Long live DnD and all its Podcasts fr
hype content
Love the idea fellas. You guys should bring on wrath of koopa as a guest, I think he would make a great guest!
Interesting, we definitely will be mixing it up with guests going forward. It's a different setup so I think it would be fun to actually play with people we are discussing with.
I loved multiclassing. The game feels bland without it. I know I'm in the minority.
so did I , it fell off for me mainly because they weren't going to balance all the sprint-savage roar or even sprint smite. I really like seeing variety but everyone at the end was just super meta and then we were told it wasnt staying :(
