    You could add a “silk worm” or “grub” to the drop pool for mummies that could be used as bait for fishing!

    Higher TTK seems to help the range/melee balance in games (broadly) Melee has more time to close the gap and not be killed before getting a single hit in. By the same token, melee damage doesn't need to be so ridiculously high because they can have more uptime on target. You can argue it lowers skill expression (in some ways) but a soft rock/paper/scissors balance state feels much better than than a pure hard counter situation.

      For the melee vs range discourse, I think it wouldn’t hurt the game if the base attack speed got increased on melee weapons as whole. Something like 5-10% bonus action speed would go a long way to make melee feel better imo.

    I would love to see a Hideout style system in this game.
    Maybe like a house that you can load in to and, similar to skyrim's house system, you could acquire things to furnish the place. After a few weaponsmith quests you get the option to buy a target dummy. Alchemist could get you an alchemy table for you to mix your own potions. If they want to add a weapon socketing system then some kind of Imbuing station would be cool.
    It would also be a way to add more options for cosmetics in the form of house decorations, perhaps you could hang trophies from bosses you've killed "Bring the armourer one 'looted' cyclops eye and he will make you a mountable trophy from it."
    It would open up a lot of cool avenues, I reckon.

    I feel like the quest ones should not have been locked behind other quests. Especially this late into the wipe. I only did the quests I needed to unlock the basic gear I want to run from the squire. I have so many quests I would have to do just to even attempt to do the quests for the "cosmetic" rewords that just happen to have stats with them as well. So I am not going to get the chance to both grind for AP and try to get the quest cosmetics.
    All i have to say is those quests need to be options to do again next wipe, and any future ones should be a mid season quest not an end of season quest.

      Yea I wouldn't mind if the added the same one next wipe... 15 lanterns is a huge pain in the ass this late into the game. I'd have casually picked them up all wipe...anyone playing a bunch of different classes would never focus on these oddball ones until ll now.

      While I happen to come across lanterns all the time i have still yet to get all of my blue bangles, kill all of my player types, collect all of my teeth, and so on. Let alone do any of the kill this boss or collect the harder to get mob drops like claws, hooves, and so on..

    ive made a habit of never keeping potions on my belt so im not a glowing beacon in the dungeon. So happy i got demi so i can have a skin for an item that i dont wear!

    I love playing shield fighter (my main) and I have to say the state of blocking feels bad man. Getting real tired of mobs and players weapons phasing through my defenses which I have invested at least half of my perks and abilities into. Been practicing longsword and I feel like a total noob again. 😅

    I’m definitely feeling the frustration of getting the oil lanterns. I’m at 11/15 and yesterday I spent 3 hours killing skull bats and I didn’t get a single one.

    I had a standoff exactly like your ranger one against a bard last season on the demigod climb. It was rough cause he would always leave to heal when I fucked him up but I couldn't chase safely :/ great time tho if it wasn't so ambulance heavy

    As a casual player with 400hrs(considerably less in-dungeon time) I can't help but feel arena will split the playerbase even more and it feels like they're justaking a seperate game that nobody asked for. I watch quite a bit of DaD content and there is virtually zero hype for this. Feels like devs are wasting time on it... I would rather have open lobbies where people can hang out and test their gear, chat, do some no-risk pvp 1v1s in a safe area, etc. idk maybe they could call it "Gathering Hall" or something. Who knows.
    There's currently nowhere to test your gear set before you risk it in the dungeons and I feel that is an oversight

      Yea, they have mentioned gathering hall is changing so maybe they are on that path. Arena is so interesting to me. Its surprising how set they are on adding it soon. I hope it's fun as heck, but can see why people are concerned too.

    Imo just like you said Wilson it’s all true dmg that’s the real problem that makes ranged seems so oppressive if they removed it from the game it wouldn’t feel so bad

      Yea survival bow just chews through people once you get 10+ additional or true

    i think with the shields. they are beyond broken. are the worst thing out there. you fight a warlock? he curses you for 1/3rd your hp. you fight someone without a side hitting weapon and you could use block skills to essentially get a free hit off

      and yeah as you said. its a stat stick rather then a actual tool to be useful. block one hit. get all the benefits of the shield perks.

      i think they should change shield slam to where you can have the shield blocking. but make certain perks weaker for it
