“I’m living my dream!” So powerful! You are doing important work by living your best life and showing up for women by showing up for yourself. I watch your channel to remind myself to worry less, go with the flow more, and live with nature rather than work against it. Thank you!
And seeing it freshly thru a friend's eyes.... She's very happy, and living my dream too 💗
I watch for the same reason, i love this channel
*@**5:58** - **6:06* 🎶🎶{"Always been a rainbow over your head"}
annnnd que that *Hannah banana smirky smile direct into cam* !
She was in her genuine thoughts & space in time I feel.
Well said
Your channel helps me question if I really need help or if I’m just conditioned to think I need it . 9 times out of 10 I am more than capable of completing the tasks I initially thought I needed help with . Thank you for that ! You’re a true inspiration!
Ohmygosh, Hannah, I'm 68/F and newly single and just bought my own tiny farm. You are my spirit person and my inspiration! THANK YOU for waking me up and showing me how capable and competent I am! Your videos aren't just fun to watch, they're also exhilarating, and I can't wait to get outdoors and DO STUFF every day. God bless you.☺️🥰
And I love your overalls, long and short, and your sweet dresses, and the fact that you're a champion thrifter. I wish you had your own fashion line ☺️
What a beautiful message. I hope you get to live your dream as well!
Hi Robynne, you're an icon! I hope it's going well. I love your profile picture :)
Planting a rain garden or something behind the kitchen and then plumbing the drains for both the sink and washer out the back to drain into that garden would be a great way to use the gray water. Make sure the soil drains well or you'll end up with big problems.
Secondly, although washing outside is probably fun washers aren't made to live outside. Even in an enclosure it's not going to be suited to the amount of moisture it's going to encounter. You've also just created a super desirable habitat for mice and rodents to over winter. They will make a nice nest in the guts of the washer and chew threw the wires. Likely adorable woodland creatures will ruin it in one year if it's left outside.
I thought that about the drain water as well... i thought she could use it to water a garden behind it..i didnt even think about the rodents.. eek
I think an outdoor shower would be heaven too. I half expect Hannah to dig her own swimming hole soon. Lol
Pools are too much of a hassle haha.
@@kulaniwarner7262 swimming holes are totally different
She could do a hay bale and tarp pool.
Yes! A shower and a pool lol
Great Job as usual - something to think about if you're going to keep cooking on the deck. Maybe add a 6" trim (wood with either metal or tile on the inside to decrease the possibility of catching fire) on the right side and the back so the wind doesn't push the flame toward you or the curtain. Fire extinguisher.
Great idea !
Totally! That curtain right next to the element needs some thought - perhaps the burner on one of the other surfaces instead would be safer
Maybe add rocks or marbles in the bottom of the curtains, that way it won’t blow so much and stay still.
when you started building the deck I was like "aw, she's gonna have to cut the tree out". it seriously made me so happy when you didn't.
Yes I love the tree there and wish more people would do it!
❤️✅
I think the tree needs some solar lights!!
Little tip you can make those curtains look more ‘oldish’ by dying them with tea:)
It won’t work if it’s synthetic fabric
Black tea gives the deepest color.
Boil a large pot of water with some salt in it (use enough water to completely cover the curtain)
Allow the tea to seep for at least 15 minutes
Wet the curtains
Put the curtains in the tea
Soak it for at least an hour
Rinse the curtains with cold water and soak it in cold water and a splash of vinegar for 10 minutes
Dry the curtains
Came here to suggest that as well!!
coffee also gives and aged look
Turmeric makes a nice dye also
@@mirandazeigler3302 turmeric fades very fast (if you're going to be washing it often, which with curtains, maybe you wouldn't!) and you'd need to add a mordant :-)
Pipe the sink out the back so it can drain out like a gutter, then you wont have to worry about emptying the bucket! I love this idea Im gonna show it to my mum for her garden area
"I'm living my dream!" made me legit start to cry. Hannah, you're such an inspiration to me. I'm so genuinely happy for you!
I literally cannot start my day until you cottage fairy or Isabelle upload I find all your videos highllyyy motivating and relaxing. Way better than my Lexapro.
Why, that is the same case with me! 🤗❤
I love Paulo, the cottage fairy, Isabelle Paige and Hannah Lee Duggar equally, all 3 have something different to offer, that intrigues me. God Bless these gifted woman.
Agreed plus Hitomi 💚
Sunday rituals 💕
Haha I love this!! They are my favorites as well
I would keep the tree on the deck too :) have you considered tea, coffee or onion skins for dying your curtains? Tea gives a sepia tone, coffee a deeper brown, brown onion skins give a warm yellow whilst red onion skins produce a green dye..experiment with differnt strengths of 'brew' to vary the intensity of colour or dye multiple times ;)
Avocado pits give pink tone! So pretty
Just keep one eye ir two! Trees grow and their trunks as well! Sadly, I recently had to have my wonderful tree removed. It was pulling the decking up and damaged some of the roof. It will be a while for her tree to mature so I can see the wonderful shade it will provide!
Try beets
My dream is for Hannah to team up with an experienced builder to take care of the harder projects like the kitchen and building a roof on the deck . I think from the comments too many people are expecting her to know how to build things the way a pro would , which is unfair . I love every addition she makes to her cabins , and the fact that she actually lives there.
as a dude and a carpenter i have got so much respect abou her, i know some guys who can't even handle a skrewdriver. Have a good time Hannah, greetings from Germany.
You can boil the curtains with teabags to make them look more brown!
I used tea once for white lace curtains. Didn’t get the antique looking hue I was after so used coffee, soaking for a very short time. Perfect.
I was going to suggest the same thing! I’m glad you mentioned it.
It was nice meeting Katya. She seems so friendly and you two seem to have fun together. Any long road trips in the works before summer ends? Love your videos!
Love her too!!
SO POWERFUL and SO EMPOWERING. Thank you for living your life and allowing us a peek into your paradise!
I don't know what it is but watching you and the way you do things in life makes me smile and makes me happy. thank you for sharing your videos with us.
Please please make sure you winterize around the washer so nothing freezes in winter-time.
Love watching your videos.
Was wondering about this too!! What if it gets wet and stuff??
She’ll probably take it back inside in winter
GAHHHH I MISS HAVING FRIENDS LIKE THIS!!! I love watching you’re lovely friendships with others 💕
We all need a ‘Hannah’ in our lives!
no I'm so glad you kept the tree with the porch!! Shade is so good and trees are lovely
for the winter weather, you must make sure to close the valve that you should have installed inside the building and empty the pipes because the smaller sized pipes are the easiest to burst, and they'll freeze/unfreeze too often. You could install another Y splitter and drain the lines easily without disassembling anything, or install a garden hose faucet and drain from there.
Katija is so adorable, she made me smile so much with her cute personality. What a gem of a friend you have found Hannah!
I love that every visitor is immediately included in the building projects :D
Lol right its like come over for wine... and help me build this kitchen right quick 🤣
This was so relaxing to watch. The ASMR vibe when you’re clearing brush 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Are you planning to put a roof on your porch, it might help keep your wood last longer
I love how Hannah just tells her friends you are a builder now lets do this , she frees them from any trepidation they might have had and makes it all fun !
The beginning is so wholesome. I just love Katya soaking in and appreciating your work. It gave me all the feels 🥰
The world would have been a better place if there were more people like hannah!
Looks great!
For your sink drain, get some more pipe and just run it out toward the woods. Then you won't have to empty your bucket under the sink.
YES! (as long as it's legal there). Just make sure to use environmentally safe soap (why am I saying this? I'm POSITIVE she already does this) cause our soap killed a bunch of baby ducks once when I was a child and I'm still traumatized. Also... hey... am I the only person worried about the washer freezing up in the winter??? IDK...
@@aletamarie2762 Her interior temps are often below freezing in winter, especially when she's not there to stoke a fire, but I think that washer is portable, has handles, could be moved back inside if it's not too built it. Just a handful of screws to remove when freezing temps come.
You inspire me every day Hannah. I can't do the 9 to 5 living and you showing me how to do it exactly how I want to live life. Thank you so much.
me and my best friend are down in Australia and we both absolutely love watching your videos!! Making our cabin in the woods dream that much more tempting😊
Omg I'm in aus too (VIC), wanting to find a place that's near the beach but also in the bush/ rainforest area but I have no idea where that could be haha
Also from Aus and love her videos 😊
Shout out from Western Australia 🙋🏼♀️

you legit listen to every song i love and it blows my mind when i hear the small artists play!!! i love your videos so much hannah! tysm for givin us a portion of your life like this
You’re such a creative dyi queen. I’m too lazy to do dyi projects. Wow! I’m so amazed and admire all you do to your home.
Hannah is living the life...What is it like to live like a fairy.lol so much happy safe travels girl. so rad
What a delightful video! I love the high grasses and wild plants. It's all magical!
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
Just when I think I couldn't be any more impressed by your 'have a go' spirit, you go & build that outdoor sink! Frickin' awesome girl! 🥳
I say leaving the tree on the deck was the perfect choice. Maybe have water drain out the back of the cabinet, so you don't have to drag out the bucket from under the sink and deal with spills.
You have built quite a little paradise there. You should be proud!
Very curious about the washer outside… won’t the rain ruin it??
Also, the northern MN/WI winters!
This is heaven. You’re so lucky ❤ the music choices are 👍🏼👌🏼
Oh my goodness, when you looked up after letting the sink hole in wood drop, I was like that is such a Hannah look, it really allowed me to see into you more. You are so nice to share your world 🗺 with us! Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
Hi how are you doing?
The end of this one made me smile ,Yes girl live your dreams.🙌❣️✝️
that cooker is very close to the curtains 😳.
amazing what u do. love everything

Very clever to make the space more useable.wow it looks great
Still no Matt!! You seem happy though Hannah so whatever has happened to him I'm glad you're enjoying yourself xxx
I wondered about him too! Men come and go but friends are usually around for the long haul.
I'm curious, too. I worry about you Hannah, even tho we've never met.
I was wondering about him too!!!
I'm wondering about Matt too....where did he go??? What happened???
He’s in her story today
The weather is so beautiful and your projects are also beautiful!! Love that you literally cooked out there right after you finished it.
To see this girl haul around 2x4's, full sheets of plywood and use power tools 💪 Makes me feel so weak and useless 😁. Whatever batteries she runs on I need them asap! I bet they could run a small town for a night 🤣🤣. You go Ms Hannah, girls like you are an inspiration 👍😎
5:37 the transition from your friend driving to sleeping (with a 2x4 across her neck) in what looked like the driver's seat was a little anxiety inducing, LOL
Can you ppl stop asking where is Matt....obviously he is out of the picture for one reason or another...
Hannah, loved that video...you seemed happy...Great job with the summer kitchen!!!
I was asking this myself because I only just realized that he didn’t show up for some time now. I just thought I missed something. Since she is sharing so many personal insides of her life it’s just natural that people care, right? Or has she mentioned that she would prefer to not talk about him anymore?
@@ainamilena1074 she said she would.like to keep some of her life private at the moment
She's commented a couple times that's she's keeping that part of her life private.
@@jayM1620 oh really? Did she mention it in a video?
That room with big white couch and plants and art work. Oh man I would be chilling in there on a regular basis. You are so talented
Really needed this video today. Thanks hannah for showing us your life❤️
Patio curtains look great! Gives it a fresh look with all the greenery. Great Job!!!
Always excited to see what’s being built next just wondering where has Matt been?
Me too. I was also wondering about Matt.
Me too! Its been a while...
me too i hope we get an update soon
She had an Instagram story with Matt this morning.
@@angelinaduganNy I don't think that was Matt, considering the story after that has Trek in it.
It was good to see you with your friend Katya, she was so willing to help you. you have done a great job with your outside Kitchen, Your plumbing is different as the waste goes into a bucket but if you can connect the pipes to to a joining 3 way pipe you could send the waste water into the garden and if you bury the pipe and drill holes along it you will be watering your own plants
thank you for the new video Hannah!🤍
Cooking is so satisfying and rewarding! If you can follow directions and build anything you can cook anything!!enjoy your space it is beautiful😊
Hello how are you doing?

It's called a pith helmet, and is, of course, the perfect head gear for driving a Land Rover. Well done!
You are such a joy to watch. You have such a great attitude in life. It’s so nice to see how much you enjoy your little slice of heaven❤️
Hello how are you doing?
Your plants look amazing!!
Watching your videos brings me so much peace n serenity… I have a lot of anxiety/ triggers and when I watch your videos they all seem to float away from me. Thank you so much for showing us your life. You truly don’t know how much you mean to me, and the rest of your subscribers ❤️💕🥰💖
Every time I watch your videos and see your cabin it just reminds me of like a studio Ghibli movie and ugh I’m so jealous lmao
Hannah, you really are a true inspiration-Thank you🙏🏽❤️
Love love love your new laundry area! I am curious though, what happens in the winter when you want to do laundry? OR will you be travelling during the winter?! ;)
Yay, let's LIVE OUR DREAMS! Your videos are so relaxing and well made. All the Best from off-grid Portugal 💚
Never fails, every time Hannah makes spaghetti, I get a craving for it too! 🍝
Hannah maybe build a greenhouse! Great for your plants, hang twinkle lights, great for being warm and yet outside! One friend built a plastic hoop greenhouse ànd a large pool for tropical fish in it😊

goooooooooooood morning Hannah and Katya!!!! sending love from oregon. I really want to build out my jeep sleeping thingy but its gonna be 102 today and it is already 80, 80 in the desert hits diff lol once again thank you for bringing "us" along. peace and love
Hi Hannah ! I love ur videos and have watched since you have beginning your cabin journey. If you want your cabinet doors to swing smoother you should cut off an inch or 1/2 an inch on the bottom for some clearance! Typically kitchen cabinets have a toe kick but you definitely don’t need one for this scenario. Happy building 💖
It's exciting to see someone living their dream in such a "harm non" way!
You never cease to amaze me! 🙂 you get an idea, make a plan, and then something amazing has been made! I absolutely love what you have done with your cabin! Brilliant job, Hannah! You definitely deserved that wine!
This was so fun to watch :) The cottage looks so cute!
Hannah I cannot express how much I adore you, your energy & your videos.
I gasped in joy when I heard you listening to Manu Chao too.
You are living MY dream, its so beautiful to watch you do it with such skill and grace.
Never stop filming ✨
I think a weed eater would change your life on that path and then mulch the edges of it. Can't wait to see the outdoor setup! I hope that tree doesn't mess up the deck, I guess you'll enlarge the space around it if needed. 🙂🧡🙂
Agree, a weedeater would be quite handy !🌴🐊🍊
Yes SSSSSSS! That tree is not only in inhibitor of a view with a hammock but it will grow and cause damage to your hard work put into the dark and near the foundation of your cabin… Please get rid of that tree
If the tree gets massive, the roots can uproot your foundation. And that’s a whole other problem.
She has said that she likes the grown up area. It was a dream as a child. So she likely isn’t going to weed eat the path.
The tree oh the deck could cause problems. But she says she loves it...so...it’ll prob stay lol
@@rhondadavis1483 I was thinking of weed eating just about 6 in out from the path, just for ankle protection and to deter pests. The rest of the yard would stay grown up. Dump some more flower seed out.
Thank You for taking the time to create and share this wonderfully creative video with us all. You! are! Amazing!!!👍
I remember that you made this long dress yourself. It looks lovely and I wish to make a long skirt like this. Can someone remind me in which episode Hannah was showing how to make it?

awww she’s so cute this was really fun watching y’all work and hang out it’s looking really good! hope she has safe travels! the whole deck looks like a dream, girl 😩
Beautiful as always. I'm sure people are going to ask about Winter and why didn't you drain the water out the back instead of a bucket? People are People.... 😆 Thank you for building cool things.
My thoughts for the bucket may be that way she can rescues some of that water for plants? Althoughhhhh she could potentially put a bucket back behind for that as well? Unsure but I’m super impressed with what she’s accomplished!!
I’m pretty sure she says in the video that it’s a temporary fix.❤️
@@kerlygerl I'm pretty sure I was making fun of people in advance and actually left a compliment. Give me a break.
I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and I gotta say, I think this one is my favorite. You're right where you worked your ass off to be. Just so happy for you!! 😍🥰😎
Your deck is so nice! And perfect with that little tree and hammock and everything!
My mom would’ve loved you ❤ I love you and relate so much to you I’ve never related to a RUclipsr before but I just became an owner to an estate and totally living off the world around me it’s harsh but it’s coming together and I am living my dream too and holy crap seeing someone else do it it’s continuing that inspiration so thank you ❤❤❤
Great outdoor kitchen! Do you plan to bring the washer back indoors for winter?
Was wondering about that too
Exactly my question…How do you plan to keep the water to the washer from freezing in winter?
I'm sure she's thought of that and has a plan.
I love that you’re getting into gardening so im not the only person talking about my peppers 😂🫶
love you endlessly
For those wondering about Matt - Hannah replied to a comment on her IG of someone asking about him - she said she's just keeping her private life private for a while 💜 I know we're all curious but let's give Hannah her space right now! Remember, she is a human who deserves respect and privacy too 💕💕
@@flrnceyou They prefaced the comment with “For those wondering about Matt,” so seems like the comment was not directed toward you, then.
Thank you for filling us in. Of course her private life is hers to share a she likes.
Then she shouldn't have even have introduced him at all...private!!!!
@@TheresaPowers I haven’t heard this wildly immature phrase since I was seven years old. RUclips sure dredges up some choice trolls.

I absolutely love your deck area! So peaceful looking with the hammock, surrounded greenery and the outdoor kitchen space space was a lovely addition
Love your vision. Question: do you plan to build a roof over the washer and sink 🤔.
Hi dear how are you?
This has to be my favorite video that you made. I am so impressed with your building skills. You inspire me, Hannah. Such a beautiful, peaceful place you created for yourself. Blessings always..❤️
Your deck area is just magical I live the curtains and well done with your project it looks great.
HANNAH HAS A PASTA STRAINER. if you know you know.
But it's still more fun to keep a chance of dropping the pasta "Hanna style" instead of just pouring out the water, and collect them from the ground, well spiced already. 😎
Love how you always put your friends to work and they like helping you.
Love the outdoor kitchen - curtains and all!
Where has the lovely Matt gone?
I've been wondering that !!!
It looks amazing Hannah!I am really impresed how every time you take on a bigger and bigger project and you develop your skills. You go girl!
A little concerned your curtains are too close to your cooking area, im afraid if the wind caught them and blew that direction you'll have yourself a fire, plz be careful. much love x
Perhaps some weights in the bottom hem would prevent this.
Missed this one you to look like you had a blast.. good for you 🌹
