An outdoor kitchen and deck, not only from recycled material, no budget, and designed as you go ! It looks amazing and cohesive ! You have so much talent and resolve, you are an inspiration to us lowly earthlings.
Beautiful, organic build. I can see me having a cigar and lager while sitting there all day. Throw some fish in the pool and you have the makings of a great vacation.. Thanks for your time and sharing. Editing and filming isn't easy or necessarily fun.
I can only dream of getting such good timber at that price in the UK. Terrific build & I like that you are very upfront about the budget & compromises. Probably my favourite RUclips build series of 2022/23
I was browsing youtube because I am planning on building my own outdoor kitchen as well and this really inspired me. When I saw you throw away the manual for the BBQ I was like "nuh uh" and I was right 😁
Fantastic job on the deck and kitchen. I really like the stairs. That is plenty of extra seating. One mistake, you should have told your nephew, “Come on over here you are going to learn some skills.”
I really liked this build. I've already built an outdoor bar but now want to build an overhead shelter and you gave me ideas for getting it done well and cheaply. Thanks for sharing!!
Looks good, although I think I would have left the area under the bar (facing the kitchen) open with shelves. Perfect place for some glasses and bottles.
Great craftsmanship. If you ever decide to switch to a gas grill you could easily hide the bottle in the cabinet to the left. And remember what separates the amateurs from the pros: read the instructions 😅😉 at least once.
Hello mate, im a 23 year old danish carpentry student and i want to get to this level as fast as possible. You fucking rock man! Thank you so much for the inspiring footage. Venlige hilsner fra Danmark :D
You going to put any sort of a polyurethane or lacquer of some sort on the bar top? I imagine the wood won’t fare well untreated against spilled drinks. Great job!! Keeping this as inspiration for myself!!
Did you use regular deck boards without spacing for the counters? I will shamelessly use this video as inspiration for my outdoor kitchen this summer 👍
Unless you did something I didn't see, I am not a fan of how you hung the stair stringers. A beam under the part at the deck with ground supports then it would be fine.
Support brackets, screws, nails, glue, etc... I am a builder and unless you live in a depressed area or materials were given to you...that price does not equal that material. Clean work though.
my manly intuition tells me i should by a plot of land and build my own house now! i looking at this thinking "how hard can it be". being a man is hard sometimes!
@@mindsparx1 Fortunately you don't have as greedy a government like the one sitting on our timber.
If you live in the U.S. don't use his deck building practices to build your deck. He is not in the U.S.A. There's not a codes enforcement officer in America that would sign off on this. I'm not sure I would want 30 to 40 people standing on this deck anyway... Just my opinion.
You are my favorite builder to watch. No hype, just explanations and doing; oh and the occasional humor 😁. Your work is wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you Margaret, you have been with me from the beginning 🙂

That is the best and most accurate description of the Midsommar celebration I've ever heard.

Thanks for your time and sharing. Editing and filming isn't easy or necessarily fun.
Thank you, yes it takes long time to edit even if its as simple as i do it.

Another piece of gemstone. Thanks very much for sharing! The outdoor kitchen looks great, the grilled meals CRY for full bodied red wine :D :D :D
instructions piece....priceless!! love the build. thx for your time.
You made it look so simple that I want to do it now! Thank you for your expertise!
Great job, sir! You have another follower.
Simple,eficient and creative.Hats off
We all love Byggmax!
Och jem & fix...
Ive spent several hours watching episode 1 to 14 now...im friggin impressed. Holy S.

looks like something from off the set of Bonanza, very cool! I am surprised that with your talents you didn't build the barstools.
Wonderful job.
Thank you :)
You're a hard worker with an endless supply of money to buy all the materials and tools. Beautiful deck and BBQ area.
Job well done!! Looks amazing
No instruction manuals were harmed in the filming of this video.
Haha, thanks for the laugh and great build as always.
I beat the landscape perfectly, it turned out cool👍👍👍
I don’t know why I was surprised for a split second when you got your faucet from IKEA. The build looks great.
Excellent design and construction.

Looks amazing so jealous
You did good on what you spent.
You did a fantastic job building your house. Well done. PS why didn't your wife help you do anything!
Welldone mate!
Looks awesome and very functional!
Looks good!
That was. Nice

Nice!!!
Very nice, man
Oh yea this Z method for the door is great. I tried it and it made making the door a breeze
you got my like for the look you gave when you had to refer to the instruction.... we've all been there.... ansd IKEA
You could wrap this fridge too! :D
haha, maybe i will...
You are incredible. How do you protect the wooden deck during the winter season?
You going to put any sort of a polyurethane or lacquer of some sort on the bar top? I imagine the wood won’t fare well untreated against spilled drinks.
Great job!! Keeping this as inspiration for myself!!
Nu längtar man till sommaren!
Riktigt snyggt! 🙂
I love your work but was wondering can it be watched a slower pace?
Thanks for sharing

Nice work
I'm glad I found your channel funny man
I didn't see you tie-in the electrical and plumbing for the lights, fridge, and sink. How did you do that?
Yes the boring part... i will do that this week :)
You forget say about Finland mid summer party hehe
Im actually from findland, or my parents are... 🥳
@@mindsparx1 Well done project. Love it
I hope you all have a good party!🎉
Love your stuff! Where did you get those bar stools?
Tjena från Övik! (Canadian living in the woods, in Övik.)
Övik, that's cold... I bought them on Vida XL
Did you use regular deck boards without spacing for the counters?
I will shamelessly use this video as inspiration for my outdoor kitchen this summer 👍
Apologies, just noticed your material list. Cheers
awesome! :)
mindsparx have you thought of using Thompson Water Sealant on your beautiful outdoor wood projects? comes in many colors/stains🤔
I had a black sealant on the pool bar, it´s very nice but a lot of work and expensive, but i may do that later...
Throw the destructions away👍
Best video cause you used a charcoal grill thanks
Yeah, the only sane thing to use...
19:55 Accurate:D
New video right at lunch time.
What dimensions did you use for the kitchen frame?
Liked for beta testing the bar 😂
wouldn't polycarbonate sheets be a disaster above a grill?
According to the safety data sheet for Polygal Multiwall Polycarbonate sheets, the melting point is typically around 220 - 230°C (428 - 446°F)
A 2x4 typically ignites at around 600°F, but the temperature at which wood ignites can vary widely

Hi, i have specified the costs above, you can veryfy it on swedish hardwear stores online.

Don’t be too hard on yourself…this man is not normal.😂 He has an impressive skill set and he seems to always think outside the box…again, not normal 😂
... "germanys oktoberfest" ... "twice as much booze"
I guess if you use hard liquor instead of beer, that would work
Yeah, that is what it is, we start drinking hard liquor for lunch then keep on going till we pass out, weird tradition...
love it all, other than the AI voice.
More square meters than the house
Really, all wood materials just 300? Probably in Finland we pay at least double..
You should have similar prices to us, you have plenty of forest like we do
@@mindsparx1 🤣
160 meter 10x15mm 1 eur per meter and some joists and screw, i think it's even less than 300
@@mindsparx1 Fortunately you don't have as greedy a government like the one sitting on our timber.

Affordable! 🤦🏻
Much more affordable than paying someone to do it
@jjanel1984 🤦🏻 don't comment if you don't know wut I'm talking talking bout
wow wish I could steal this house
Please don't, i want to keep it.
Very nice 👍
Nice!!!
