    Beautiful, organic build. I can see me having a cigar and lager while sitting there all day. Throw some fish in the pool and you have the makings of a great vacation..
    Thanks for your time and sharing. Editing and filming isn't easy or necessarily fun.

    I can only dream of getting such good timber at that price in the UK. Terrific build & I like that you are very upfront about the budget & compromises. Probably my favourite RUclips build series of 2022/23

    I was browsing youtube because I am planning on building my own outdoor kitchen as well and this really inspired me. When I saw you throw away the manual for the BBQ I was like "nuh uh" and I was right 😁

    Fantastic job on the deck and kitchen. I really like the stairs. That is plenty of extra seating. One mistake, you should have told your nephew, “Come on over here you are going to learn some skills.”

    Looks good, although I think I would have left the area under the bar (facing the kitchen) open with shelves. Perfect place for some glasses and bottles.

    Great craftsmanship. If you ever decide to switch to a gas grill you could easily hide the bottle in the cabinet to the left.
    And remember what separates the amateurs from the pros: read the instructions 😅😉 at least once.

    You going to put any sort of a polyurethane or lacquer of some sort on the bar top? I imagine the wood won’t fare well untreated against spilled drinks.

    Älskar dina videos !! Håller på och bygger själv ett project men tyvärr inte skills på samma nivå då är mekaniker o inte snickare haha så lär mig mycket från dem 🙏🙏.. Perfect att är på engelska då vi flyttade hit från Ontario o frugan inte kan Svenneska ännu.. problemet är bara att nu när hon sett hur ett proffs gör så är det svårare för mig att imponera med mina skills 😅😅

    mindsparx have you thought of using Thompson Water Sealant on your beautiful outdoor wood projects? comes in many colors/stains🤔

      I had a black sealant on the pool bar, it´s very nice but a lot of work and expensive, but i may do that later...

    wouldn't polycarbonate sheets be a disaster above a grill?

      According to the safety data sheet for Polygal Multiwall Polycarbonate sheets, the melting point is typically around 220 - 230°C (428 - 446°F)

    Unless you did something I didn't see, I am not a fan of how you hung the stair stringers. A beam under the part at the deck with ground supports then it would be fine.

    Support brackets, screws, nails, glue, etc... I am a builder and unless you live in a depressed area or materials were given to you...that price does not equal that material. Clean work though.

      Jemfix, 12kr meter för staketvirke, går åt ca 160 meter samt ett par regar. Jag skrev ner allt som gick åt i beskrivningen ovan, nu i efterhand.

    If you live in the U.S. don't use his deck building practices to build your deck. He is not in the U.S.A. There's not a codes enforcement officer in America that would sign off on this. I'm not sure I would want 30 to 40 people standing on this deck anyway... Just my opinion.
