      Over the past couple of decades, black men had to deal with gangs, drugs , crime and a fourth of them have gone to college. Black women meanwhile has loaded college campuses, gotten degrees, masters and doctorates and have successful careers.
      Now there's a major Paradigm shift in Black America.
      No one has seriously addressed it. Women are still looking for men making more than them like the old days. Now corporate world has 3 to 1 black woman to man. And almost double in the population. There are more women and more women making more money. These women however despite the shift are still very picky. Even at 50 and 60.

      Black women all have different personalities. We are individuals, but society does not allow us to be. Growing up I was reserved and quiet and avoided anything that could cause me to be stereotyped, but I still experienced racism and hate. Still was accused for having an "attitude" when I was minding my own business and didn't smile or laugh often. If we stand up for ourselves against racism, we are still attacked. As a Black woman you cannot win unless you have light skin are fit racist beauty standards.

    It DOESN'T matter the level of accomplishment their male counterparts have or don't have. The main problem regarding this situation is that MOST of us in the black community DON'T know what it takes to find a suitable mate or make a life with each other work.
    Black women romanticized love so much that they forget a large part of this union is based on it being a partnership. Most black women were NEVER taught what black men need in a mate. They USUALLY learn by word of mouth, trial and error or bad advice past down from friends and family. Setting themselves up to be traumatized in the process.
    Most black men dred the commitment, responsibility and FEAR being taken advantage of, being disrespected and being taken for granted.
    Most of us have no accessible role models to mentor us or go to with questions..

    The first black woman in the video wants to know what's wrong with her, why she can't find a good black man. Ok let me try to answer her question. But first she must answer a question for us, why would a good black man choose her? What qualities does she have which would attract him to her?
    Girls look for money, but we already knew that. Some might say "don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, they’re gonna spend the rest their life with someone, so make the right decision". Well hmm..... yes in some cases that's wrong.
    Yes, a pretty girl demanding for such qualities is fine, but a girl who is fat, over age and not so pretty looks ridiculous with such demands. People make fun of such women. It’s not that difficult to find a nice guy out there, if one tries to find someone at par to what she herself is. One the other side if she doesn’t want to compromise, then she should work hard on herself.
    Men and women have expectations, partners that they’ve dreamt off. A boy would dream of marrying a beautiful girl one day, a girl would dream of a prince charming and when those expectations are not meant, frustrations occur. There are many cases where men and women marry down, but it results in unhappy marriages. He/she might say to himself, I could have done better. Get married to a person who is on your own level, if you are fat; get married to a fat guy. If you are not so pretty get married to a guy who is not very wealthy, that is if you are looking for a strong and long lasting marriage. Marrying up means destruction in a marriage, because the person positioned above would never let your life be easy with him/her.

    Spend one hour at Prospect park in Brooklyn on a crowded Sunday and its very rare to see a black family/couple. In fact you can count them on your hands. Keep in mind the park is in the black neighborhood of Flatbush. You will see crowds of white families/young couples, Jewish families, blackmen dating out, and lonely black single mothers in groups with no man in sight. You can see the lonelyness on their faces.

      Doubt me all you want. He's with me and he's not going anywhere and last I checked, the problem is Black men.
      Most of you abandon your families (interracial or not), explain that 92% out of wedlock rate with interracial women? Also, what's with that extremely high divorce rate with White women? All of these problems follow your side.

    • @Emi14873
      @Emi14873 6 лет назад

      Incognito Now you tell me, can you see my picture? Last I checked, it's a profile pic of a drawing of 2 Black women who aren't me. So you assume that I'm overweight and on my appearance? How typical.
      Here's the thing, all Black women don't want nor do they need Black men. I am one of those women who repeatedly rejected Black men to date out and you know who happened to be interested? White and Asian men. I don't need a Black man, I've got better.
      I'm still trying to find out why a lot of Black women are for men like you. It's strange that a lot of you like to think so lowly of your counterpart, and yet the women are the ones that are actually making progress, not your side, who's seen as only good for a one night stand and not even worth protesting for. The other women don't seem to support your claim of the women being the problem. Where's your support on Black men issues?

    • @Emi14873
      @Emi14873 6 лет назад +1

      Incognito It's really sad that you have to say all of this just to make yourself feel better, but let's put some truth to your lies, shall we?
      Single motherhood? Now, I wouldn't know anything about that because I chose not to have kids, but last I checked, it takes two people to make a child. Yeah, the women aren't perfect, but at least they're actually trying to raise their kids instead of running off because of most of you have commitment issues and don't even want to support your kids.
      Debt? Not really my area either, but I could've sworn that went both ways with the college debt. Not to mention at least Black women buckle down and pay for their stuff, rather then trying to scam their own through drugs, sex, stealing, or anything else.
      Diseases? No experience there, but I could've sworn that came from Gay Black men that like to keep their sexual preferences a secret, or stupid Black men that prefer to go in raw after they've been with everything that has a vagina because your type is obsessed with sex and that's the only way most of you see yourselves as men, which is pathetic in itself.
      Obesity? Not my forte, but it seems as though a lot of Black women eat because of stress...induced by useless Black men. Why do they let things like you in? No idea, but I could've sworn that Black women are raised to expect Black men as a partner. Even though, I tuned these lessons out and met a nice Korean guy at the Korean church that I go to.
      Lack of feminity? Oh, you mean that trait that comes from Black women constantly having to fend for themselves because their counterparts decided to be feminine by choice and want to compete with their own women for the benefits of being a woman? Or did you mean the way that we look, which history already disputes your claims with the Tigon Law of 1786 in Louisiana? Basically, it implied that all Black women were a threat and had to be subdued. Go ahead and look up that fact.
      You say that we're the bottom of the barrel, but why do Black men get mad at us dating out, like you are? Why do they attack us like what you're doing to me, right now? Can you explain how common it is for Black women to be sexually assaulted or raped by Black men, alone? Weird. Why would you give something of little worth (in your opinion) so much attention?
      I find it funny though. If we are so low, then why do you guys keep trying to convince Black women who are dating out that they have no worth to them or that they're lying, as if you Black men are that important to lie to? You must really need to feel like Black women are below you because why would you be so set on devaluing someone that you've never met? It makes you look like the jealous and bitter one, but I know you. Being stubborn and hateful as you are, you will pursue this sad mission of yours, anyway.
      Go on, I'm waiting. Throw every statistic you've got. It won't phase me (mostly because they don't apply to me).
      I suggest that you better yourself as a person, rather than wishing that strangers you talk to online have a horrible life, just to make you feel better about yours. Get some self-esteem, too. Insecurity is not attractive, but these days, it is expected from men like yourself, who fail in every way to other races.
      If I were in your shoes, I guess I'd be pretty bitter too. So, I understand your anger at someone doing better than you.
      Simply put, I'm your worst nightmare. I'm a pretty Black women with an amazing guy who's pursuing a medical career, right now. His parents adore me and respect me and I'm happy. Don't shrivel up and die from the goodness in my life, ok? It'll only get better from here.

    Black men and women haven't been taught how to understand each other's struggle for the most part, in many societies. Also, I think our community is suffering heavy generational mental damage from not only slavery but systematic racism, that has gone untreated. I see damage and division that's been around for centuries, still poisoning our branches.
    I do think too many of us are broken and don't know how to make ourselves whole, teaching our kids the same. On top of all this, the pool of black men is systematically compromised like they mentioned and largely contributes to this distance. Of course, I'm speaking generally and making observational inferences. I'm not sure I actually know or can articulate how deep the disconnect is and why.
    I only know 2 healthy, happy black couples-one 10 years married-and a SLEW of struggle love stories. My boyfriend and I have a deep sentimentality for black love; we feel disheartened when we see folks unhappily single or stuck in struggle love.
    We've been together 5 years and are best friends; we pretty much always enjoy each other's company and are very affectionate. He's the only man I've ever felt emotionally and physically safe enough with; I'm the first person he was comfortable enough to be emotionally vulnerable with. Life has thrown illness and grief that have ended marriages at us, yet we've grown as individuals and a team. We built our love on consistent compassion, respect, trust, support, and commitment-everything we wish we saw. We have a strong devotion to end damaging cycles in our family histories, and take setting a good foundation for future generations very seriously.
    I have faith in the strength of black people, but I don't think the black family will be healed anytime soon unfortunately. I hope we find our harmony again, because we go hard when we have unity.

    The first thing I'd like to mention is that love is not a color, but a decision of something that you practice unconditionally consistently. You have to first be dedicated and committed to God Almighty and be walking in the Holy Spirit truthfully. It's not the skin you're in, it's who you are within that matters. What are your reasons, motives and agenda for wanting to get married? You don't go out and find love, you have to become love and then, love will find you. You can't provide or give away something you don't practice and are not yourself.

    This is just depressing. I'd like to see more positivity in the media around this situation. Show Black women being the main love interest in sitcoms, find and show relationships, both intra and interracially where the Black woman and her significant are cohesive and productive. The media places too much emphasis on the negative aspects of Black women in relationships, and unfortunately people are swayed by that. Plus, us talking about the negatives isn't going to make people feel bad for us and date us...We aren't defined by all this negativity! We're more than this crap the media spews.

      The media places too much negative emphasis on black men, women and children. Next it might be after black babies. And the media puts this negative image or stigma on the black race far more than any other race if people. The sad reality is that black people believe it to the detriment if their own race

    Well, their first mistake is looking for black love. Love who loves you ladies; regardless of his race. I was rejected by a black dude, who was a struggling attorney and the guy that came along behind him; just happened to be a white man; who earns 6 figures; which is almost 3xs what I earn as a Therapist. My point is that my guy is a hardworking, mature man, who's a great leader and provider. The other guy was just too immature and not the best match for me. Stop dating a race and date for character.

You know how many black women on here lie and say they have a white guy who is making 6 figures or a millionaire. Shit doesnt add up nor make any sense nor is believable.

    Why is it that when a predominantly black show is released the majority of them have "black" in the title? Not only does it sound like they were made by the same team of people but it unnecessarily mentions the race of the characters in the show as the viewer will SEE its black people once it airs! This is an example of why it's harder to market all black shows worldwide bc we make our race the focus and the story second. It makes the average potential viewer assume that they must be "black" to relate to relate or have interest in this show. It's already a show about women, which cuts out the male demographic and then your putting "black women" in the title eliminates your chance of getting non-black women views/ratings. Keep the all black cast just take "black" out of the title and be business savvy. Further more is "black love " that different from any other love? Why so insecure?

    Now, they complain there are no good men to marry. Well quality men work towards their purpose and have selected cultured submissive women.

    Stop looking for the "right man", if you aren't the right woman. Work on yourself, put yourself and your happiness first and make sure you are in a right spot mentally, emotionally, physically and financially ready for marriage first. If you're in a right mindset and mentally you will attract the right man towards you. But pray. Love yourself and be open in life. Stop being out here looking for what you want and become what you need! This has nothing to do with race but more to do with who your are as a person.

    She talks about being a professional black woman that can't find a man but picked the most unprofessional man she can find. Yep, she picked the guy 6.5ft guy with swagger and a baseball cap on his head, who lets her lead him - cuz that's a real man to her. This same guy with impregnate 10 of them then she'll demonize all black men for being no good. What's wrong with her ex husband, he's calm and seem like a desceant man. But black women don't want normal, THEY WANT CRAZY. Black women have lost their minds..

  • @fturla
    @fturla 6 лет назад +4

    Okay, we have an outspoken, nagging, and extrovert divorcee. Can you tell me what's wrong? I sense the problem is an aggressive and domineering character but maybe some men like that demeanor? No, they do not. There are far more black women that display this posture, and this character is given to the female demographic of black women as a whole in North America. I don't recall ever hearing this position on any other ethnic group of any race in the world, except in the States, but I believe it's spreading throughout the western world.
    Okay, after saying all that. The problem is ultimately selection, preference, and availability. Men and women should date anyone period. If you say he/she must be a religion, must be a certain age, must be educated, must be a certain height, must be wealthy, must prefer the sex you like, must like the things you like, etc. then you are insane to think you will not be hunting for a long time.

    They are to picky that's why! They start dating the bad guys and expect them to turn into Mr. Right! The point is let the black man be a man know your role in the relationship and allow him to be the man in the marriage. I keep seeing these black women trying and feeling like they need to be independent which is great but you still need to let the man do his job! Women don't wear the pants in the marriage for a reason we are the weaker vessel we need the man to guide and mold us as women! When you do your part in the household everyone is happy and they always say "happy wife happy life"!

    And another note, it is not Black Women's job to lift up Black Men. That idea and mindset is a big part of the problem. A lot BW believe they are better than BM, based on their degrees, their money, things that ultimately have proven not to be important to BM and a long term relationship. When you go into a relationship thinking you're superior or wanting to be in control, even while pretending you want the man to lead, the relationship is doomed from the jump. BW should ask themselves, why do you want to get married? What purpose am I looking for a man to fore fill in my life? I think if BW would honestly answer that question, it would go a long way in helping them see what the problem really is.
