- In this stream I will finalise the game launch process. Using the game save object to set the initial transform of the player on launch. I'll then create a basic pause menu so we can quit back to menu. I would also like to create a 3D scene for the background of the pre game menu.
My vision for this airport sim game is to include a passage of time mechanic inspired by Transport Fever. Players will start in the early days of aviation, building small, modest airfields. As time progresses, you’ll expand into larger, more modern airports, welcoming bigger and more advanced planes as they enter service.
Throughout development, I’ll be working with a combination of C++ and Blueprints, balancing functionality and creativity to bring this project to life.
