Another great video. Seems like some new tools have made an appearance as well. I enjoy the down to earth explanations and no nonsense style. Keep it up!
Thanks for posting this video. Based on the 2 templates you used, the it seemed that the microwave was expected to be vented out the back or out the top. You obviously didn't cut out the vents so I'm wondering- how you are venting out the microwave?
yes, you don't need to vent to the outside anymore, stove's these days are more efficient and don't put off the same amount of gasses. its not a code requirement.
Hi, i really need your help. So my contractor installed this same model few days ago. But while we're using it is not pulling smoke from whenever I'm cooking. Although the exhaust thing outside the wall, it's working when we turn this unit on. I tried testing it with a piece of toilet paper and plastic too but it really doesn't pull anything, all i here is just noise as if it's working. Thanks in advance! Please help me
If the outside to blowing air out then it’s sucking the are from somewhere. Try taking off one of the screens under the microwave and see if you can feel the air being sucked in there
You would need to tape up the top vent that on top of your microwave just above the door. You'll get up a little bit more suction on those bottom filters.
When you removed the screws to remove the bracket from the microwave, you should have replaced the screws as they hold the unit together. Just sayin'.....

Ha, upgraded the drill. The old craftsman drill was starting to get a bit sluggish.
Thanks so much.

It’s recirculating, vents out the front top.
Why did you skip showing getting the microwave oven into position? All of a sudden, magically, it was in place!
I’m a one man show, if I remember correctly, my camera glitched up.
Yeah, that would have been nice. Also, did you nail the spacer blocks in place?
@@jessejames586 I didn't nail them in place, I set them on the microwave when I was almost tilted all the way up.
You have a gas stove and no outside venting ?

Valid point, knock on wood, it hasn’t fallen yet. 😀
