Really appreciate your efforts. One thing which I want to raise out that statement "population mean is always greater than sample mean" is not correct. It depends how sampling has been done. Say population set is {1,2,5,3,7,8} and sample set is {5,7,8} as subset of population set. So here mean of sample is greater than mean of population.
Thanks for the video krish ji post many videos on context aware recommendation systems this is my research topic thank you for your great support ur videos are precious u have a long way to go u are my inspiration love u lot🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
hello, your all videos are very good and I appreciate your efforts, but I have a request from you .Can you make one video of any one algorithms where we implement stats and these test like(t test ,z test, anova) we used and how to get analysis from those stats and test. Thanks in advance
Exactly I am also looking for the same to know about mentioned points. Please Krish make a video on t test Qui square test which are very important in python..Thanks
Hi Sir, Come over Your video and found it really valuable in terms of clean and simple explanation. Keep to share You knowledge in this way. Will check the other You videos. If other videos will be so good, You will get my subscription. Thanks,
Hi @krish Naik, Your efforts in this complete DS/ML field are remarkable for the people with fewer resources. However, I may have found a mistake in this video or maybe it's just that I'm not thinking it right! In the end, you state that population mean will always be greater than the sample mean, I don't think this is a must hold for every sample. I mean wouldn't it depend on the sample we have taken? let's say we have a population of 6 people and heights are as follows- 6,6,6,3,3,3(in ft), Now if our sample is the first three people then the sample mean will be 6 and the population mean will always be somewhere around 4, right?
How the population mean always greater than sample mean ? As we can select a sample with size n with all the n maximum blues of the population in that case sample mean would be greater
I decided to enter into data science field by watching your videos only Sir. The content and your efforts are really amazing.BTW Are you from karnataka sir?. I'm from karnataka
Hello sir You explained topics very clearly with real time examples where we can get the idea of applying these stats in real time, but there is one concern about where can I get the videos of Population Distribution, Sample Distribution, Sampling Distribution, concept fo skewness, variance, standard deviation and some of the topics you didn't cove
Hello, appreciate your work. I am new to your channel. Please tell me, to learn data science from your channel which playlist should I watch first? Regards.
Hi krish, i was going through statistics in machine learning playlist in couple of videos you mention in our previous videos we already mentioned about some content. is the playlist contains all the videos in sequence. for ex. after covariance in statistics in the next video you talk about we already discussed about TPR FPR confusion matrix which was not discussed in the playlist sequence videos earlier. like way you mention about snd in log normal distribution as we already discussed. did i missed the sequence of videos?
hai krish i regularly watching your videos,i have doubt about data science is there any chance to handle non maths students can do a data science are not.
Hey Krish, your content in really awesome. I just want to know that do I have to solve this problem from a booK or the basic information is sufficient?
Thank you sir for the video, but why is sample mean smaller than population mean, what i feel like is, it most probably it can't be equal to population mean, but smaller or greater will depend on sample
Hi Krish, is it necessary that sample mean will be less than population mean .I think it is possible to have sample mean greater than population mean in some of the cases.
Hi sir, In the last part of video you said sample mean is smaller than population mean, but it need not be the case right, if the sample selected has more values higher than population mean? Or is my understanding wrong?
Hello, dear Krish, Please create and upload on statistics that required Data science. Because your 31 viedos is not enough for data science according to your mentioned syllabus . So please please
If I have a single variable and I want a machine learning model to train over that variable to predict the next data points of that variable, how could I do this .please give me some suggestion so that I will clear hurdles of my brain, I am waiting for your precious suggestion ....
the main purpose of using sample mean is that we cant calculate huge mean for population then what is the use of the formula for h(i) in poppulation mean shouldnt that be x bar instead of h(i)
Hi Krish, May I know what kind of software's you are using to teach and also are you using any digital pad to explanation, Please help me to know about this... I'm a lecture wanted to buy this so..
I appreciate for this video. I have a question on Mean. Why do we need to find mean on sample population as Python allow us to find mean from actual population. Please help me to understand.
Hey Krish your content is amazing but the sound quality of this series is not good. Please try to improve and your efforts is really appreciated. Thank for giving such a good content.
why population mean is greater than sample mean? It may be possible that people in sample set are people who come in upper range of height and in that case sample mean will be greater.
Why is the sample mean less than population mean. I mean it can be larger or smaller depending on sample data. Where am I misinterpreting ,please help!!!
• Population is a collection of all items of interest (N). • Sample is a subset of a population (n) . • Parameter - It is a value that refers to a population. • Statistics - It is a value that refers to a sample.
May be, you should remove this video from playlist as you already have a new and better version of this topic in the same playlist. It will save time for viewers, just suggesting.
Hello Sir, In the case of Sample Mean, we need to divide it with (N-1), where N represents the total number of population. Please share your response..

Nice work! Appreciate your efforts 😊 Kindly add more videos to the stats session. Pls complete the series and also touch upon maths behind each algos.
Really happy to see the progress....starting with paint to use as board...
3:03 What is population
4:13 Mean
5:40 Sample
7:46 Population mean vs Sample mean

You are right...the statements i told holds true when we have some samples greater than n where n is some value
Nice explanation krish. Thanks a lot
How the population mean always greater than sample mean ?
As we can select a sample with size n with all the n maximum blues of the population in that case sample mean would be greater
Lol, Krish your writing has gotten a lot better as compared to your recent videos. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you sir. All clear

Video is really appreciable ..
Sir audio quality improve kariye please.
Hello Sir, Your videos are very nice. please create a calculus series. Thank you Sir .
Really appreciate your efforts ,
sir can you make a video about P-value and T-value
Your lecture is very good and easy to understood.Plz improve sound quality on this video

Yes it is upload but I have to work on the ordering. U can check data science interview questions playlist
Hi, Thank you very much. the videos are excellent. looking forward for more videos on stats and maths if possible. keep going.
could you please upload videos on probability in machine learning
hai krish i regularly watching your videos,i have doubt about data science is there any chance to handle non maths students can do a data science are not.

Hi Krish, is it necessary that sample mean will be less than population mean .I think it is possible to have sample mean greater than population mean in some of the cases.
Yea it depends on the sampled elements eg{6,6,6,6} from {1,2,3,4,5,5,6,6,6,6}
Thanks
Hi Krish is this from basic level playlist ?
Aap modern day guru ho 🙏🏻🙏🏻
How do you select sample from the population? Is it done randomly or are their any specific criteria to it?
Sir it's useful in data science
it is awesome explination
Hi sir, In the last part of video you said sample mean is smaller than population mean, but it need not be the case right, if the sample selected has more values higher than population mean? Or is my understanding wrong?
Why will sample mean be less than population mean?
I hope u can use a brightness colour for writting
great explanation kirsh about the basics of stats to be used in data science
Hi Krish video was really helpful but I am not agree with you last point where you have concluded that population mean will be grater than sample mean
Hello, dear Krish, Please create and upload on statistics that required Data science. Because your 31 viedos is not enough for data science according to your mentioned syllabus . So please please

Different question here...
You originate from Karwar, Karnataka right?
Or from Goa...?
the main purpose of using sample mean is that we cant calculate huge mean for population then what is the use of the formula for h(i) in poppulation mean shouldnt that be x bar instead of h(i)
Thanks Krish
I think sample mean is not always less than the Population means its may be some time greater than the population means.
Are this videos in right ordered ?
Hi Krish,
May I know what kind of software's you are using to teach and also are you using any digital pad to explanation, Please help me to know about this... I'm a lecture wanted to buy this so..
He is using Microsoft paint which is available in windows operating system. You can search 'paint'.
Nice video as always, but please use real white board and marker, for better visibility
how can we say population mean will always greater than sample mean? how do we compare
I appreciate for this video. I have a question on Mean. Why do we need to find mean on sample population as Python allow us to find mean from actual population. Please help me to understand.
But the data you have in your python dataframe itself is a sample.
Finding mean isn't our problem, collecting data is
Example :- How sample mean will be Greater by Population mean.
50 over match.
For sample :- balls hitting for boundaries (4&6).
So S.M> P.M. 😀
Hey Krish your content is amazing but the sound quality of this series is not good. Please try to improve and your efforts is really appreciated. Thank for giving such a good content.
You are performing Calculas maths right?
good
Why population mean more than sample mean..... .
Sample we have selected might be also have higher values
why population mean is greater than sample mean? It may be possible that people in sample set are people who come in upper range of height and in that case sample mean will be greater.
Yes you right he said it by mistake ig
Why is the sample mean less than population mean. I mean it can be larger or smaller depending on sample data. Where am I misinterpreting ,please help!!!
U are right
• Population is a collection of all items of interest (N).
• Sample is a subset of a population (n) .
• Parameter - It is a value that refers to a population.
• Statistics - It is a value that refers to a sample.
Explained in a simple way...very good, but audio quality is not up to the mark!!
May be, you should remove this video from playlist as you already have a new and better version of this topic in the same playlist.
It will save time for viewers, just suggesting.
sir your lecture is good but audio quality is very bad...
purple writings on black backgroud is very hard to read :(
Really good content but this video is quite slow, had to watch at 1.25x .
Hello Sir,
In the case of Sample Mean, we need to divide it with (N-1), where N represents the total number of population.
Please share your response..
To get variance of a sample we need to divide it with N-1 instead of N.
❤💫
Note: The sample size is 10% of the population.
