      I've owned one for about a year now and you just made a fantastic decision my friend. This video does this guitar no justice, it absolutely blew my doors off. Every other guitar I own is two to three times the price and this is my go to unless I have the itch for some single coil tones but that never lasts too long. If I had one complaint it'd be that the bridge pick up is definitely hot. Happy playing, let me know what you think when you get it, I don't know anyone personally who owns one.

    This guitar is just fantastic. And I don't know if i'm just fooling myself, but *I* found that bridge pickup gave tones *really* close to that "traditional" Tele sound. I don't think this is just a "Jim Root Lite" guitar.

    Just bought This beauty (white pearl version) really beautiful guitar, loved the sound (a little more brighter sound than my other tele with di marzio HB pic ups) other thing I noticed is that the puck ups (RH) have a lot of gain, and for the cleans I have to turn down a little bit the volume to not get distorted cleans…

    Yep, just came back from the local store where they had this. Stands out against american boring-grandpa telecasters. This one is killer. The pickups are super tight. and the neck is fast, confortable. reallly recommend it.

    • @vevz7286
      @vevz7286 2 года назад +1

      i play a thinner neck (9.5) will it take time to get used to the 12?

    • @SkunkDozer
      @SkunkDozer Год назад

      @@vevz7286 I have a few 9.5” radius guitars and I have this guitar, too. Chords are easier on this guitar because of how low you can get the action. Feels like you just need rest your hand and fingers on the neck and the chord will ring.
      I feel that this thing really shines with more acrobatic type riffs and lead work. It’s a very nice fretboard for pounding out those aggressive riffs that call for finesse at the same time.
      So, it might take a sec, but you can really fly on this neck once you get used to it. It’s like a car that can go 0 to 60 a bit faster than the others.

    • @brettadkins4968
      @brettadkins4968 Год назад +2

      You can get it pretty close but you'll never get the iconic twang of a single coil Tele. That being said, this thing rips and my Fender Player Strat gently weeps in it's case because I never put this guitar down.

    Not sure why all the videos spend time describing what is right in front of us. The sound is of course an important because we know, or could know that these are alnico pickups with likely a common resistance although we don't really know what that is.
    The thing we do not know is the sharpness of the frets or if the action is low and does not buzz or perhaps something about the tuning keys - which I guess is fine.
    I think if you're playing metal you might need the extra two frets, and more powerful pickups, and if the FR (other models) is good.
    And certainly an Ibanez or a Schecter has an arch which is nice, and probably looks better although of course that's subjective.
    The FR version is $479, which the HB certainly beats.

      I'm stuck on the same decision. The white with black hardware looks so good. If it had a darker fretboard like ebony I would definitely go for the white. But with the lighter fretboard I kinda feel like the gunmetal is just more unique since it can look like different colors in different lighting, from bright and silvery in bright light to blues and greens down to dark grey in dim lighting.

    • @DanAddison

      I have the shoreline gold which to my eye has a slightly more timeless quality to it, I found the other two somehow a little trendy, kind of 80s nostalgia by way of 2021 (anything that is trendy now will at some point be deeply un-trendy). I wasn’t sure whether the clash between the gold and the roasted maple would detract from one or the other. But I absolutely love it (along with everything else about it). Anyway that’s just my humble opinion, none of us are right or wrong!
