  • Remains found in a Florida reserve on Wednesday belonged to Brian Laundrie, his family's lawyer said Thursday.
    “Chris and Roberta Laundrie have been informed that the remains found yesterday in the reserve are indeed Brian’s,” Steven Bertolino told NewsNation in a statement. Laundrie was a person of interest in the disappearance of Gabby Petito, 22, who vanished while on a cross-country road trip with Laundrie in a converted camper van.

Do you think him and Gabby got into an argument, she allowed him to leave her in the middle of nowhere and take her vehicle, all of her belongings, use her money and banking information to travel across the country back home, immediately retain a lawyer, refuse to speak to her family, investigators or law enforcement, and then disappear when people start to take notice and question the situation, meanwhile a stranger happened upon Gabby in the wilderness and murdered her for no logical reason? What is the actual likelihood of that? Brian’s actions alone show a guilt of conscience, which is used in jury’s. People who talk about closure for the family have never went through a violent crime, there is never any closure for the family. Charles Cousins That isn’t how identifying remains works. Gabby’s remains were identified almost immediately after she was found by her stepfather who confirmed the clothes on the body were her’s. The remains were confirmed to be Brian’s because they matched the teeth to his dental records. I’m not denying that this entire situation is sus, but an autopsy, cause and manner of death, DNA testing, etc, take weeks, identifying the remains of a highly wanted fugitive does not.

    • @isabelpalix3890
      @isabelpalix3890 2 года назад +6

      Identifying a body doesn’t typically take long, depending on circumstances. Gabby’s stepdad confirmed that he identified her remains almost immediately after her body was found by the clothes she was wearing. It was and is a highly publicized case, and investigators wanted the family to be notified before the media released anything. Similarly they matched the teeth to Brian’s dental records to confirm the identity in a timely manner. I don’t doubt that there is more to the story than the parents are letting on, but an autopsy, cause and manner of death, DNA testing, etc takes much longer than simply identifying who the body belonged to

      Maybe mr alligator or mr water snake got him while he was trying to escape justice.. maybe it wasnt suicide at all… scattered human remains = animal predation! Nature delivered him justice! Meanwhile countless man hours, media blitz & $$$$ went into looking for him while gabbys death was a simple quick blip on the radar of peoples minds… so unfair!

    Could they have faked his death? The dental records where altered to match which every bones they dumped there?

    But if the parents have been to the same area before, why go again, almost like insisting they knew he was there before the water flood…?

      In my unsolicited opinion, I think they knew where he was because they were keeping in contact with him. Then when they stopped hearing from him they went to look in the exact location where he last told them where he was. Since the area was apparently flooded, they were unable to still see if he was there/alive.

      @Jaime Martos yeah I also thought the same, but I don’t know…it’s so to the point. Straight back to the same location? Yes, what you say also makes sense, but…something is not adding up…

      Right! It's like they purposefully led them right to him. And if that was his favorite area to go and was searched during and after the water receded how was he not found earlier!? What are the odds that the father would find and pick up his sons belongings a few minutes into their search? Everything always comes back to the parents and something is off there.

    Dare I say it……did his parents kill him in the name of “compassion”, then dump him? Maybe they thought it would be better to take his life themselves, rather than him go through a trial, go to jail for the rest of his life and potentially receive the death penalty? We’ll probably never know.

      You are right on except for the part about them doing it out of compassion. They did it out of self interest.
