This almost reminds me of the old cliffhanger they used to have at six flags over Texas back in the early 80's. I like this! I used to wear cargo pants or shorts when I used to go to amusement parks back in my much younger days. They had Velcro closure pockets and 2 pockets with zippers. I always put my keys and money in the zip pockets and my phone in the large Velcro pockets and loose change too. I wrapped my phone in a Ziploc bag to protect from wet rides as well. I NEVER lost anything. I wore those cargo shorts when I knew I was going. So guys, Look into buying a pair if you are worried about losing goodies in your pockets! The rides CAN rob you! Haha!!
The record has since been surpassed by TMNT Shellraiser at American Dream Meadowlands, with a 121.5 degree drop. Both TMNT Shellraiser and Takabisha were made by Gerstlauer so they have pretty much the same layout.
NJ will now have the world's steepest coaster. The American Dream has been under construction and delayed for many years, I'm excited it's finally opening. I live about two hours away
I think it would have been better if the manufacturer would have given a bit more of a push over that first drop crest. The stalling does give a great sense of anticipation, but it seems to lag a little bit. Just my honest opinion. Still a wild coaster! Thumbs up!
That ride from japan that we saw is coming to the new mall of america in new jersey when it opens i think this year or next year and i can wait to ride this when i come to new jersey.
Enjoyed this ride after a long wait. I was too scared until i sat in it but after that I did not feel much steep. It got just over in a span of time, did not feel much. It was super smooth.
Ashley Elizabeth For whatever reason the younger audience finds clout in it. When I was younger I did the same thing and I can’t for the life of me figure out why I thought it mattered.
Great video Robb! Though this is my least favorite of the four big ones at the park by far, it's still a great ride! Also lol at the locker comment. Such a great system!
Nice vid! I’m glad we’re getting this in America, AND they’re gonna have the same people that did hangtime at KBF do the light package for the ride! Not to mention it will be open year round! Easily one of the best gerstlauer eurofighters, if not THE best!
fuji-Q highland=record holder park: Do-dodonpa :most fastest acceleration on roller coaster in the world (0-180km/h in 1,56s) and have the biggest looping takabisha : most steepest roller coaster in the world (120C) eejanaika: most inversions roller coaster in the world (14) fujiyama: was the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world (130km/h 79m)
Great ride, went there a day after climbing mount fuji, they have a metal gear solid inspired ride there as well, along with a very long, very scary insane asylum haunted house. Highly recommended!
Scariest. ROLLER COASTER. E. V. E. R. Btw I'm going to Tokyo next month and I would like to visit FujiQ. It's the world's BEST theme park with the scariest roller coaster, the Eejanaika (I know it was a pain for you in your video of it tbh). And riding the world's steepest RC at a whopping 121 degrees just feels super cool. So yeah! I'd love to ride the Takabisha and the Eejanaika. Ima brave boy btw, can't pee my pants on Kingda Ka.
@@YPOC i've never ridden it, but considering the fact it doesn't even have a Max Drop Angle, means the ride is not as forceful and steep as Takabisha. If you ridden Fahrenheit at HersheyPark, you know what to expect on Takabisha, but worse.
I was 2019 there, Coaster Rating (For me) : Takabisha: Most Fun Fujiyama: First Half .....OK, overated, Second Half (THE Curves) WTF!!! Mad Mouse, i wasn't even on this... Dododonpa: Most Expectation , fun but man is this ride hopping (Because of the Tires? ) not much going on, but the Launch is worth it. EEjanaika: This ride destructed me o.O Scary one .... Didnt know what hit me
LMFAO imagine a park saying "Before riding, you must go through an anal cavity search to check for loose articles that may fall out during the ride". 😂🤣
Did you vomit? I almost did just watching. Excellent video. Thanks.
no
Tf you ok 💀
Sitting next to this guy vlogging IS the extra dip of nightmare on a rollercoaster.
We all know this video is gonna get like a 5 million views, so hi people like 4 years from now...how’s 2023 looking?
Coasterboy it’s going great!
The world has ended! 😆
Was about to comment this myself before seeing yours. The thumbnail and title are about as perfect it gets for a viral coaster video.
At this rate there might not even be a 2023 😔
Communism
So many upside downey bits? Someone is forgetting the smiler haha
Adam for sure went on it 3 times in a row today
Adam I hope this was a joke
Yee
That moment when you literally "lose sight" of your tracks...
Awesome ride!
No one:
Theme Park Review: OOOHH HO HOOO
This ride looks ace though I do dislike it when it’s just a track on a flat ground with no theming anywhere.
Ikr. I hate when its just flat grass with no trees rocks or anything.
2:36 that is the weirdest cloud I’ve ever seen
*It's a giant peice of paper in the sky.*
Whale
This ride looks crazy! Pretty good image of Japan!
Very nice.
The drop must feel so weird like going backwards lol.

The vertical lift was my favorite part of the show!

Won't they both be tied for steepest drop? IK in November I will definitely be making a trip down to American Dream to ride it
I’m lucky to live only 30 minutes away from the mall :D
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv no no no they won't be tied. It will be steeper by 1/2 a degree.
really fun ride beyond the steepness gimmick!!!
You can definitely be the next Santa clause with that laugh 😂
I hope we get videos of the other Fuji Q Highland coasters soon.
Random Euro-Fighter. Why did they make a shell raiser clone? They could have made it more unique. 15 inversions would be awesome! 🙃
Other way around. Shellraiser is a near clone of this layout (though half a degree steeper for the record).
I think it would have been better if the manufacturer would have given a bit more of a push over that first drop crest. The stalling does give a great sense of anticipation, but it seems to lag a little bit. Just my honest opinion. Still a wild coaster! Thumbs up!
*Correction...the mid-drop crest. Forgot about the entire first portion of the coaster. Lol.
Oh my god!!!
Amazing 😮
Thanks for sharing!! You guys do such a great job!
Japan is not only the leader in technology but in roller coasters as well.
Hail Japan!! 😍💙
Mónica Sánchez RMC...
That's very debatable! 🤔
Technology, yes. Roller coasters debatable, at best.
One of my friends sent me a video of this coaster on Facebook, and that is really awesome but terrifying at the same time LOL
That ride from japan that we saw is coming to the new mall of america in new jersey when it opens i think this year or next year and i can wait to ride this when i come to new jersey.
This whole "steeper than 90°" craze is ridiculous. By this logic the steepest "drop" has already been built - it's on Sequoia Adventure at Gardaland.
demoniack81 But that is not a “drop” that is a 180 degree vertical turn. Huge difference.
demoniack81 Screaming squirrel boiiiiiiii
Si tienes un mal día, escucha a este fantástico este hombre y callate la boca. Gracias por sacarme una sonrisa SIEMPRE.
Im going to japan in december and i cant wait to go on takabisha and do-dodonpa
How was it?
Really enjoyed your video but, I don't think I'd get on that!
Instead I rode shell raiser since its closer and my i was surprised i was sick after riding that a couple times
i love the little "wheeee!" and "Omg, that was amazing" and my screams are like "AHHHHHH" screaming bloody murder
Omg This video is amazingly amazing!
How the hell were you able to record a POV video on the *Takabisha* of all things? It has the world's steepest drop after all.
Loved every second of it :)
Can’t wait for the clone to open in that mall nearby the Meadowlands
me too, i think this could be in my next bucket list of coasters i want to ride.
was it a bit windy or had it not had time to warm up yet because it looked quite slow when it reached the top of the inversions
Dude said “weee” I love it
God good ride ❤
Enjoyed this ride after a long wait. I was too scared until i sat in it but after that I did not feel much steep. It got just over in a span of time, did not feel much. It was super smooth.
Love your videos
This looks awesome 🎉❤😂
Isn't there supposed to be one of these in New Jersey soon? When's that happening?
October, and it'll be just a bit steeper.
Hello and welcome your early first you will notice half the comments are saying first
So dumb, I don't get it... Say something constructive or interesting, saying "first" is just ridiculous...
Ashley Elizabeth that was the idea

Caster269 calm down I was only saying
yes i want to ride it he looks so cool !
Looks like a great coaster x
Cant wait for its clone to be finished here in America in New Jersey!
0:17 that guy in the back was soluting HASHAHA
XD
That looks so much fun!
Looks like a lot of fun to me
I prefer to watch you ride it. 😜

i already ride it ! and for me this is by far one of the most funniest coaster :)
3:12 dododonpa bolting out at the right corner there my gosh
Is it a spinning coaster since you were turning?
Hey Robb, isn't it mirrored?
Oh hell no! I'll be on the ferris wheel 😄😄
I love how small the train is lmao

I got anxiety watching this how did you do this ?!
Why i didn’t vomit it is a good ride ❤
Great ride, went there a day after climbing mount fuji, they have a metal gear solid inspired ride there as well, along with a very long, very scary insane asylum haunted house. Highly recommended!
How you can have camera on ride, cause I want to do so but not allowed by the staff
Sneak it in... Think
@@SylasTheGreat i think so.. because i was on the same ride haha
@@ev7d167 yeah but...I was on the same ride actually.
oh man that ride is so damn fun, Eejanaika was better but i still loved it regardless. Just makes me wish i was back in Japan again
I can’t wait for the clone at American Dream Mall!
Nice Video
1:41 Well, that was a short but fun ride.
Oh, wait...
This guy is professional
I think they've stopped using the steepest one, its on the right side....any reason?
Im afraid of highs cuz if i ride an rollercoaster is scary i,ll pass for that
Are you ok? This made no sense
That's 127 degree drop. Way beyond vertical!
I would but it looks terrifying but you only Live ones

Vertical escalation ascent. A little bonkers.
What about Sequoia Adventure and it's clones? It's a lot "steeper" than Takabisha (but definitely not as good)
He is talking drop wise. Takabisha has the World's Steepest Drop on a roller coaster.

Smiler.

welcome to japan
Is this the same concept as saw the ride
“We’re upside down!”
*1 second later*
“We’re not upside down!”
I would ride!
I love that the nickelodeon one is the exact same thing just 0.5 degrees steeper
Did you ever get your starbucks?
I need to ride this
I know how smooth this coaster is because without camera stabillity it didnt shake alot
Where is this roller coaster
テレビとかで観てたら、これ乗れそうとか思うけど実際下から見上げた時の絶望。
結局一度も乗ったことない
At what point is it no longer a steep drop and becomes an inversion?
I’m not sure so I’m only replying since nobody else did, but I believe it’s 130 degrees.
This rollercoaster is similar to the smiler but there’s less inversions
they're made by the same company so it makes sense that they're similar
It looks insane. But of couse I would like to try it out 💪
