Personally, I'd prefer that the American President have advisors who actually understand core topics (like Section 230)... and since she's been covering the information/digital/internet technology beat since AOL days, but still hasn't bothered to really _actually_ understand Section 230, it's clear that she wouldn't be such a great choice. (That said, her take on Tech-Bros, Billionaires and Trillionaires in American politics was dead on). (edit: missing word)

Every week I listen to Kara Swisher's podcasts, ON and PiVOT. Tonight's "Space Karen" is just one more reason why she makes me laugh, makes me smarter, and makes me more aware of the world around me.
I almost didn't watch this because I still thought Kara was a tech/Elon Musk apologist, but this is pretty brutal. (And honestly, the glow ups matter.) The world is in such disarray! The audience didn't seem ready for this, but folks, this is real.
I remember those innocent days in the early Internet days and we all thought the nerds with their "Don't be Evil" mantras were going to be better overlords than the old establishment. How naive we all were.

If that isn't a showcase for why we need more women out front, I don't know what is. Kara's brilliant. If Pivot isn't your favorite podcast yet, go listen to it. And Desi... I underappreciated her for a couple years, but her hosting skills are only topped by her interviewing skills -- not the least of which is her ability to shut up and let the guest talk when they're on a roll. I wish that was a skill more people had. LOVE YOU BOTH. (And where's Scott?! haha)
Kara's book was superb. I listened on Audible and loved that she narrated it. Her podcast with Scott G. is great, too - Pivot. Really enjoy her and her work.
