Y’all opened up a can of worms with this one. Static x was iconic. 2019 I went to their show, it was the anniversary of the album this song was on. They resurrected Wayne and are on tour now. Gotta check it out. So many great songs by this band.
Best memory of wayne was at ozzfest 2007 at the signing booth. A drunk dude kept yelling at wayne interrupting him when he was meeting fans. After about 15 min of this dude yelling " Wayne come here" he turned around and obliterated the guy to where the guy almost cried. One of the greatest memories, we all laughed. R.I.P. WAYNE STATIC

If you don't know them, check out Epic's studio track, Consign to Oblivion, followed by the live performances at Retrospect, and The Zenith, which you can watch on YT, many people think the live performances are better, myself included.
This is the first band I took my brother to see back at the Family Values tour 2001 with STP, Linkin Park, and Staind. All I remember is Static-X has constant strobe lights and was loud as fuck. It's crazy 3 out of 4 of the lead singers are dead now. I think the Trance is in Motion is my favorite song off that first record of theirs.
Way back in the day I saw Static-X/Powerman 5000/Dope at some small club in Hollywood. It was one of the best, loudest and sweatiest concerts I've ever been too. Static-X was fucking great.
I love the mechanical sounding simple riffs of Fear Factory and Static X, i hope you check out more of them. Definitely look at Black and White, it's probably their best known song.
As someone in recovery I can totally get how talented people can go that way. It can be hard to get a fix when you have no money, then you've got way more money than you every dreamt of. So its so easy to get a fix now you can easily over do it. Do a show kill it then go party like a "rock star".. R.I.P. to all the lost legendary rockers!!
I'm glad I got to see them before the singer died I think maybe the following year after I saw them what's funny is that's the only rock concert I ever went to to where I had a big smile on my face the whole time cuz it was so cool to see them live

He used to be in a band with Billy Corgan back in the day... and you may have seen him playing guitar in the vid for the X-Ecutioners (who were hip hop DJs in the early 2000s)... and he also had a song on the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack. RIP Wanye ...as for Bone Thugz, they got into some hot water for their whole Ouija board/occult influences when they first came out. I ❤️Bone but you know black people, we don’t play around with that stuff! Bizzy said in an interview that the industry folks tried to get them to sell their soul but they didn’t.
