2042 was thrown together in 18 months during the pandemic by a team consisting of mostly new to the series devs working from home. EA once again forced out a half baked game just like BFV.

Doesn't BC2 campaign end with a nuke headed for America? I always thought they were setting up for a third game.
@@DonaId_J_TrumpThey were intending on making a follow up to BC2 but they stated years ago that they just don’t know how to recreate the greatness of BC2 so they’ve left it alone essentially
Operation Metro and Caspian Border are what makes battlefield…. battlefield; definitely my favorite maps in the entire series

was going to buy this game...then i read about the endless crashes and stuttering on PC/Steam version. It's cheap too now and i want a new MP shooter with a healthy player count
It's not so bad /w the crashes, but the gameplay itself? Fantastic squad/team interactions. I can't believe how much I love this game.

Really wish we’d get a BC3 but the developers stated years ago that they don’t know how to recreate the greatness of BC2, arguably the best BF game ever
The "Core Battlefield Community" is alive and well in the steam reviews and this game is still HORRIBLY reviewed. I'm not sure where you got the idea that the core community is "Pretty happy with the shape of the game".
Everyone still hates the specialist system and it's still ruining teamplay.
So long as console has to play against PC this game will always suck. (Can’t turn Crossplay off cuz then it can’t find a match since nobody plays it 😂)

@@hemilife7629 Crossplay in FPS games should be console to console only. It’s trash that I’m forced into a lobby of 80% PC players in games like Battlefield and CoD as well. Literally don’t stand a chance in most gunfights. Makes it so unfun.

Dude I swear I never pre order shit again after I pre ordered these games. For both of them I took 3 days off at work. I was so disappointed that I will never do that again

All I ask from battlefield soldiers have the their nation's uniform, and a map in the middle of Manhattan

Favorite Battlefield map? Mastuur City from BF2. Kubra Dam holds a close second just for the stunt flying potential.

Every game you play will have 25+ bots on either team just keep that in mind

@@vSwampFox wish i had your lobbies. Anything other than the s6 24hr map playlist’s. I get nothing but bots having to wait for people to fill a lobby almost every game.

Crossplay off, and you have bot filled lobbies.
Crossplay on and not so much an issue, but then you're up against PC players which can be an issue for some.

If EA put as much effort into the game as they did the Trailer. We wouldn't have 50% bot lobbies.

It's dead / dying. They basically removed 128 player from the main menu, and before they did that, 30-60%+ of your team was Bots. Even 64 matches have Bots. The only map that hasn't had many bots is the new map but only because it's on repeat and it's a new map. Then again this map has no vehicles which isn't what made Battlefield. I remember playing BF2 in the 2007 and it was essentially the only game like it that you could fly jets and drive tanks etc. Thats what made battlefield what it is, now with the new map its just a shitty Call of Duty.

I didnt buy this game i downloaded for free when it came out those that bought it should be compensated something cause this game is horrible i rather play battle field 5 & 2-3 i had more fun playing those and have over 1k hrs in each i love being medic but i went with another aproach on this one with assault the team mates are dog water nobody revives shit u not some matches i get in the most u see is minimum of 20 or less more people run support with over 100 refills its crazy medics just run over ur body while u lay there hoping to get picked up i have over 1500 revives with just my pen lol 😂 i play engineer

Aim assist is a training wheels for a controler users, LOL
They talk mass amounts of shit when they drop you but, will never turn that Aim Assist off because its a crutch.

I’m battlefield veteran, but this game is trash. there is no logic in this game.. i uninnstalled few times and reinstal to see of game has changed.. but every time I install it, after 5min of gameplay , uninstaled it becouse its worst shooter game at the moment 😢
