there are usually two types of Ultraman, pre-existing ones who bequeath their power to a human (usually in apology for their arrival ending the human's life) or one who take on a human form and they all come from the planet they talked about at the end of the movie nebula m78

So we’re diving into Tokusatsu now, if we are adding that to the mix, out of the Big 3 of Toku(Kamen Rider, Super Sentai(PR’s source material) and Ultraman), Ultraman is the more forgiving franchise to react to. As from what I remember Tsuburaya Productions , the people behind the production of Ultraman, is way more accepting of reaction content compared to Toei, which involves both Rider and Sentai. As for getting into Tokusatsu in general, it’s definitely a jump into what you feel seems cool situation, as most Toku installments(for the Big 3 at least) are self contained unless the setting says so. If you want some more of the most awesome Kaiju movies ever, check out Godzilla Minus One, it has baby in it too.

hell yeah Ultraman Rising
you going mom mode over Emi every time was kinda funny lmao
33:00 It’s Tokusatsu Alicia that’s how it gets cooler
So since you've watched this I'd like to recommend:
1) The Monsterverse movies, they're fun as heck.
2) Transformers One because it's one of the best movies to come out this year and is animated by the same people.
3) Toku Sh*t. Ultraman, Kamen Rider, whatever. There's a whole world of this crazy costume nonsense that pretty much inspired almost everything you've watched. Trust me...
Oh heck yes.... Toku content is here!
YES
Now you gottaaaaaa watch The Wild Robot!!
