I was there 16 years ago! Caught a boat down the Mekong to LB. The spontaneous boat trip looked like so much fun! It’s always great to see how a little spontaneity can lead to the best experiences. Hasn't changed much The colonial architecture in Luang Prabang is just beautiful! It’s fascinating to see how history shapes the look and feel of a city.
Looks nice when you were there. When we visited there was about 9 million people there and just couldn't enjoy it! 🇱🇦 Beautiful place though.
We are first. Luang Prabang is the city of festivals. Best time to be there is January and February. Hope you guys are doing ok. We are on our way to a wedding in Warwick, R.I

I totally agree about the falls though. As impressive as the falls are, the whole visitor experience is just too commercialised, and detracts from the natural beauty. It was a LOT busier when I was there, too! All that said, I did still enjoy it though. 😁

You are both lucky guys ! 30 minutes ago the tornado 🌪️ warning ⚠️ was issued in Hamburger , NY … The power was off … we stopped working… getting together in the cafeteria … Luckily nothing bad happens … but we still waiting for the power to come back . At the meantime I turn on my phone and watch your video … it’s so beautiful ❤ … I already plan to go visit Laos by the end of this year !!! I already booked airplane tickets ! Well done guys.Luang Prabang is so relaxing.When i was there the shrine on top of pussy mountain was open.You shake the lucky sticks in a cup until one falls out .The sticks have numbers on them which matches a piece of paper telling you your future.Kuang Si Falls is amazing and alot of people were swimming when we were there.We stayed at the Kiridara which was so quiet with an awesome pool.Looking forward to your next Vid.Laos is so Amazing.
You forgot to mention the bowling alley only has squat toilets so go before you go If you know what I mean. There's archery outside and a club next door. Great place for late night fun but it gets busy after 10pm on high season. enjoy.

No scam with the bike parking. Wherever there are parking attendants, you should receive a ticket for your bike - if your bike is missing, the attendant is responsible. They need bikes not to be locked so they can move them if needed, especially when it is busy and they are trying to keep the parking organised. It is wise to lock your bike anywhere that you are not paying for parking.
