Debbie, Thank you so much to share your tips and tricks! Very helpful to me. In one of your videos, you mentioned senior discount for campgrounds/parks. Can you share where to purchase? Thank you!
Another question for you Debbie: I am purchasing a preowned 2020 Pleasure Way. Warranty is not transferrable. What’s your thoughts on buying dealer offered warranties? Thanks.
@@jessica340 I do not recommend it. Factory warranties don't cover third party components like the fridge, micro, generator, shades, inverter, batteries, hinges, pumps, heaters, etc. Is the dealer warranty different than that? Manufacturer warranties come directly from the manufacturer of those components not built by PW and they are usually one or two years max. The PW warranty covers things like cabinetry. PW builds high quality cabinets so I can't imagine you'd have a problem with those. I would guess that the dealer warranty would require you to bring it back to the dealer. So what do you do when you're on a trip to Alaska? We call warranties like that "boat payments." The dealer has a boat payment to make and you're gonna pay for his boat payment. But that's my opinion based on not having the offer in front me.
Your videos are gorgeous! I just watched one of your first videos, where you were talking about starting your RUclips channel, in order to learn about video editing. Holy smokes ... you understood that assignment ... and then some! Your videos are beautifully done! What video editing software do you use and what camera/s do you use?
Thanks so much. I try harder as Avis would say. I use Final Cut and my iPhone 13 Pro and a GoPro 9. But it really doesn’t matter what equipment you use, it’s like a musical instrument, practice, practice, practice.
All awesome tips and suggestions. Thank you so much….going to check them out. We are also thankful for great neighbors that keep close eyes on our house. It’s so nice to be able to check our security cameras and thermometer via our phone.
Thank you for showing me how to access the comment box. I’ve been trying for a long time and thought it wasn’t possible on my iPad. Great instructions!! Thank you for taking care of the over 60 crowd.
Hi Debbie - Great news - tonight I started on the warm window covers ! Got 25% off and then 25% off total purchase so scored a bargain. But - most of all wondering what is this airing down business for the tires ? Is there a specific video where you talk about that - could you direct me ? Appreciate all you do. Also heading to anza borrego next will check out some of your suggested hikes etc.
Airing down on rough roads is commonplace among off roaders. It smooths the ride significantly. But don’t do it without the right equipment. I don’t have a specific video and much depends on your tires but Google it and you’ll find lots of info. And happy sewing. 🧵
Love you guys! I’ll take an Extra-Large! And… just in case you need reminding… Air Back Up! 😂😂😂. Lynn laughed so hard when she heard this… I had to rewind it to see the shirt. HAHA. Great information in this one.
We got rid of our weboost as we find our mifi jet pack with antenna to be better. But in Panamint Valley there is no coverage at all. In Death Valley there is only an overloaded 3G network.
Hi Debbi, another great video filled with interesting tips. Thank you. On another note, we are thinking about getting the kids hammock to use as storage for our SuperBag bedding. Do you still use yours? Do you like it? Do you have any other suggestions? We have a PW Ford Transit OnTour 2.2 and hate to use the back upper cabinet for the bedding…thanks!
Over the years, we have reduced the need for storage. The hammock is best for light weight jackets, not bedding (as it probably wouldn't fit between the sofa and doors). So the only time we might use it is in the winter when we are taking extra jackets. However, one of these days I want to try to actually use it as a hammock. It's just so rare for us to have a campsite with trees so I can try it out. That's not a definitive answer but I hope it helps.
@@FromShetoMe I would echo your warning about minimizing what gets stored in the hammock. Even with only jackets, we got unlucky one night and while extending the bed, the hammock was dragged down along with the bed. Fortunately the only damage was to the cheap carabiner used to attach the hammock to the seat belt loop and to my heart which almost stopped when I heard the loud crunching sound. We are now very careful to ensure anything in the hammock maintains a slim profile between the sofa back and the door.
We were on a bicycle ride today with Owen and Lynn. I asked Owen if he is the "Owen" this shirt is for. He laughed and shook his head yes! This is great!
