Though it's true, you can't really compare Glee covers on tv to live performances, Groff had my attention this whole time. Darren just kind of jumped around and did random stuff. Even the leather suit couldn't help. Jon's just got this prescence about him, and it outshined Darren like a rocketship on it's way to Mars ;) But thats just MY humble opinion, no hate.
Are you serious?! You can't compare those two covers. As per usual, Darren's voice was over-produced, over-edited and the song didn't suit his natural range - hence why they had to auto tune it so much. Jonathan sang this live, with passion and energy, and I personally think /he/ killed it. You couldn't compare the two covers properly unless Darren sang it live as well.

He has such a great powerful voice. I'm a singer / touring musician and he's great. He just needs a little work on breath control. He's sort of all over the place. IF he can fix that omg he'll be an insane singer. The best out of all of Glee's stars. This guy blew my mind on the show with how great and how much grit he had in his power vocals. After hearing him live ya he needs a little work to get better and he'll nail that song later in life. If he practices a lot he'll be greater in no time.
