I baught a hobby box of upper deck black diamond back in ‘04. Hoping to pull the Crosby rc, and I actually pulled it.. but I noticed that literally every card in the box had the same exact dent in the same spot. I wrote a letter to upper deck explaining the defect and I also sent some of the cards so they could see for themselves. I definitely wasn’t expecting much from upper deck but I was hoping for something in return. About two months later a package from upper deck shows up. Inside was a really nice apology letter, but what was really awesome was that they replaced every card I sent them and also sent a few black diamond hobby packs!! Figured I’d let you guys know because it sucks getting dinged cards.

Probably a defect or recalled box that got absorbed into 5 below’s inventory. Happened to me before at Big Lot’s.

That’s wild cause I found one at five below and all the cards in the box were really good shape and centered well only a few in the whole box had a scratch on them and they were the bad cards thankfully

QC issues is a big problem I've found especially in the Prizm basketball. Off centering, dents and print lines or scratches. Thanks for the showcase may the card gods grace you moving forward.

It’s ok. A card can be a 10 and PSA will still give you an 8 because the greatest trick the devil ever played was making believe he didn’t run PSA.

Five Below is a store that I haven't checked out much. There is one not too far from me so I'll have to check it out. It's also good to see Target's back with a full restock of cards, too.
You were probably expecting that Bears silver pull to be Justin Fields, lol. I hate those swerves where you get the scrub.
I think twice before buying any unopened Prizm boxes now because of the many print issues. I mainly stick to buying singles.
Buying singles is always the way to go
When I went,the packs were over priced but I did think about doing hockey for a possible high priced YoungGun or inserts of young stars!

They have these at Cracker Barrel. Couldn't believe it. Bought two full unopened box. Opened one (several good cards but the checkerboards weren't great...)

What are these cards made of? How do they get them to refract light so well? Is it a special photo paper or a plastic?

Sadly Panini doesn’t tell you before they send the boxes out, they use them in actual backyard football games.
Sometimes effects the cards, but makes a great spiral.

Use Kurt’s card care for that zeke. My Jalen green card was like that and it did the trick. It’ll take a lot of it off and sometimes all.

So I collect hockey cards and all my knowledge is hockey cards, I used to get football cards from Walmart when they had them but they only would have score I have a lot of score from a couple of years ago but what I found out was score is not good is this the primary entry-level collecting product Panini Prizm? When you think of a rookie card in football is it Panini Prizm everyone is after?
