Kaboom guy was very well spoken and very transparent about his pricing. Glad to see you got the deal done, and I expect that collection will definitely go up in price.

Hey man, I remember taking a picture with you at fanatics fest! Thanks so much I really appreciated it because I’ve been watching you for so long and I have been learning a lot about cards by your influence!
Smart dude... no one will sale kaboom for any lower... you got to know what is going on out in the kaboom market... it different front the regular market
You got a great deal on that Mark Hamill signed 1977 Luke Skywalker Rookie. The card is sharp, has great eye appeal, and that Auto 10 signature by Hamill is super clean. Nice pick-up! You should get it on display at Cards HQ.
I don’t like the guy with the Pete card… he gives bad vibes, & he was really hard to deal with… you could imagine a normal person dealing with him… he values his stuff high, & yours low…my guess he has more high dollar cards than he does friend… guy with the Kabooms is total opposite, good guy
I agree 100% with this and was about to post a similar message. First guy very fair and straight forward. Other guy is slimy. Values his cards above market and yours below. Honestly. A fair deal for that trade. I think Geoff's items were about $16,500. And the other card maybe $22,500. So $6,000 difference. Not $10,000. He got an extra $4,000 easily. I would never deal with that guy and he did the same thing with other deals.
And that's with me valuing the other guys card at slightly HIGHER than it sold for (which the market is lower now). And Geoff's LOWER than his sticker. And STILL $6,000 max.
maybe, but the most cringe person on the video (by FAR) is the mojo guy at the end. i would hope any grown man watching his antics would feel sick to his stomach.
@@fastfootedone😂😂😂mojo....you mean Geoff's favorite butt buddy? I agree, hes cringe as shit. I just dont know how you look at mojo and see cringe, but not when you look at Geoff.
Outstanding deal both ways . Considering it’s demand and liquidity within the hobby Geoff did well AND the very fair justification going the other way (yield/ growth season start etc)
Love the communication and transparency on the Kaboom deal. Real dealing right there. None of that trying to get over with lowballing. Consideration on both parties because buyer want a good price while seller wants to make a profit without shorting his margin. Great deal!
You're a smart man & very lucky Geoff! The Lebron Kaboom alone will be worth 5 figures in no time. It has shot up in the last few years. And, ironically I've messaged that vendor several times over the last few years asking him to break up his set. He obv declined each time haha
I enjoy your videos! That was me collecting in the 80's and 90's. Anyway, for you guys or any collector, there's a cool auction going on with Kraft Auctions online in Michigan City, IN. They have quite a number of listings for sports cards of all types including Michael Jordan cards and comics as well under the Auction Calendar on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 auctions. Most of the bidding starts at 0, so there are some really good deals going- anyway, I look forward to your next video!
The premium on that pistol pete auto is wild. Psa 2/3 grade card like that one is like 250-300 bucks. But on some level it makes sense assuming that pop count stays so low.
Hey sir! Wow, what a great pickup on the 2014 Kaboom basketball set! Fanatics Fest looks awesome! Going to be in Atlanta on 08/26 for a couple days! Big fan of you, Geoff, and the channel. I definitely want to come into the CardsHQ store and check it out. I’m going to bring up some PC Cards, I have an eclectic collection. Not sure if you will be in Atlanta from 8/26-8/29 but if so would be awesome to connect. Cheers, thanks. -Kev
You know what you should do with the kaboom set. It’s gonna be kinda a waste of money but potentially add some extra value. Send them all back into PSA for reslabbing/regrading (might even get a couple cards bumped to a higher grade) but then you’ll be the only person with a complete set in chronological cert order. Would make it even cooler
Soon as covid hit i took most of my profits from selling kicks and invested in dunks before the ben and jerrys and everyone was chasing (modern)new cards and ripping packs and i invested all vintage and i made out like a bandit.
