Could you guys please do demo of the Hiwatt Crunch series? It's almost impossible to find one locally in US and some demos would be helpful in deciding. The tube amp always sound better but it might be nice to have a inexpensive hiwatt just to kick around with
The Little Rig is our upgraded version of the Little D - better quality components, chassis, etc. The linked input is essentially both channels jumped together internally. We dropped the "P, D and J" models as the artists they were associated with hadn't given the previous Hiwatt owners permission to use their names. Since we took over in 2016 we wanted to do right by those musicians and be nice and transparent :)
There's no effects loop or reverb on their Custom series of amps, with an exception being the Studio/Stage model which has internal spring reverb. As the host mentioned these do serve as a great pedal platform, run whatever you like in line into the front of the amp.
I came here looking for a demo on the hiwatt custom 20 mini stack but really enjoyed watching this. Great playing, great sounding amp, and where did you get that double cut? that thing looks and sounds grreat! Hey, weren't you the guy doing the 20 watt HIWATT Amp giveaway? LMAO
Don’t have much experience with Hiwatt, but I really like them lately.. sorta reminds me of a plexi on the gain setting. Feel like playing some Who or Tom Petty when I hear this amp.
The playout at the end and also 1:56 - 2:20 were the best examples.
I would have written this amp off, had it not been for this.
That's a tasty amp !! Great playing as well, covered lots of ground in a few minutes
Satisfied!!! Replacements! Great track
Nothing sounds like a Hiwatt
You played Unsatisfied so I have to like it🖤
I don't know why but finally Hiwatt is showing up for me. I want to get stuck into these new amps built in the UK
How is their "built in China" line up? Prices are good but how is the quality?
Appreciated the tip of the hat to the Mats

We're currently scheduling our filming for the next few months - We'll have Crunch demos coming soon!
Unsatisfied by The Replacement! Hell yeah!
HEELLL NO... Heavens Yes NOO replacemnt!!!½!
Compared to dr504 what’s the main difference between those amps? Thanks!
Any news on the pedal smith 50? Sounded very interesting from the two RUclips videos online about it at NAMM.
We should have some announcements for it coming in Summer - follow us on Instagram @hiwattofficial for all the latest news and updates
Are there any plans of bringing the Little P back, or is the Little Rig essentially the same but with internally jumpered channels?

The Who and the replacements
Is there a demo on the current edition Studio/Stage?
Is this the amp that Townshend used for the recording of the song "Who Are You"?
To me it sounds like he’s just running straight into the desk for that song.
who knows, but he was a user of Hiwatt, check live versions if you like it!
The Replacements!
Effectsloop?

I believe that's a Gordon Smith guitar.
Those Pete Townshend sounds sounded a little too gainy, but it's got the sound.

What do you mean by a plexi on "the gain setting"? The only gain setting on plexis is a cranked volume control.
@@darwinsaye still a setting
The best
Flubb city!
Are you still owned by the guys who tried to sell stolen guitars?
Absolutely not. Hiwatt has been under new ownership since 2016. We get asked this a lot!!
@@HiwattOfficial Oh thats good news. I can buy one again now then!! Feel free to delete comment.
@@ChristianSachaNovak bit of a pricky comment none the less.
@@lupo10 in what way?
Think you’ll find it’s a 2x10
It's 100% a 1x12 combo in this case - we released it for Winter NAMM :)
Who cares about the clean sound. Come on and switch this gain control on ! You can do it !
