- Hiking to Hidden Falls at Curt Gowdy State Park, Wyoming USA
This week, we're back on the trail for an incredible hike in beautiful Curt Gowdy State Park near Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming. This mid-level hike is full of beautiful scenery at ever turn: forests, river, creeks, rock formations. There's a bit of rock scrambling and changes in elevation that add to the fun. We'll take the Crow Creek Trail Curt Gowdy to the Hidden Falls Trail. When it comes to Curt Gowdy State Park hiking, this trail is a Must Do!
This is our 2nd video recently that features a hike. So what does hiking have to do with RV life, RV travel or full-time RVing? Well, for us, we are able to visit places like Curt Gowdy State Park because we are RVers. We are able to RV camp inside the state park so that we can hike this trail. This hike is something we would probably never done if we weren’t RVers. And that is something we love about RV life… our motorhome brings us to places like this Wyoming state park so we can discover and hike on amazing trails like this one!
This is one of the most fun hiking trails we've explored. If you missed our video on our RV campsite at Curt Gowdy State Park and our visit to Cheyenne, Wyoming, you can watch it here: • Visit Cheyenne Wyoming... .
And for another amazing hike we experienced recently, check out our video about the historic Saddle Rock Trail to the summit of Scotts Bluff National Monument in Gering Nebraska: • Hiking Iconic Saddle R... .

We are Tom and Stacie Langland, known for 10 years as RV Texas Y'all.
We are Native Texans and Full-Time RVers who are all about exploring the Great State of Texas and America one campground at a time. We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it and we're bringing you along for the fun.
In 2018, we sold our house, our business and gave away just about everything we own to hit the road and see America. Our home is a 33' motorhome named Freedom. We installed an extreme solar and lithium battery setup so now we can camp just about anywhere with our dog (Star) and our cat (Astro).
Every day is a new adventure, so join us as we RV America Y'all.

Happy Sunday! We loved this beautiful hike. It's really too bad we didn't have smell-o-vision... the scents along the way were fantastic with all of those trees! If you missed our video on our campsite at Curt Gowdy State Park and our visit to Cheyenne, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/6lDuufxp7Oo/видео.html .

Thanks Maritza! 😊
Very pretty! Thanks for taking us with you!
No problem! 😊
Unless you didn’t show the picture; you didn’t get to the falls. It was a little further ahead and walk in the creek up to your waste and then at the end of the little canyon to the left was the falls. Worth wading i. The cold water to see. I love curt gowdy.
Wow, we had no idea! Thanks for the tip! 😊
Great video I enjoyed the wonder of nature

Thanks y’all, hope your travels are going well!
Thanks for the video. It looks like a lovely trail. Beautiful scenery.
Thanks
Awesome video!
Thanks 😊
Absolutely beautiful! I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. But, at least IMHO, the music is extremely distracting. I want to hear the sounds if nature, just like you said in the video. I want to hear the birds, the wind, the water.
Thanks for watching and the constructive criticism, it’s absolutely appreciated.
Safe travels! ❤
You have such great videos and we learn things from you. i love how you can give us such informative advice. Love the hike today. Beautiful views..
Thanks Carolyn, we give our best! 😊
Moving to cheyenne this month and this video gets me pumped for the views there. The region makes me wonder about common bear encounters etc, did you feel safe the whole time?
We did! Bear spray is available if you are going on long hikes!
I’m first
Yes you are! 😊
Outstanding video, this trail is gorgeous! Scenery is simply unique 🔥🔥🔥
Sure was, thanks for watching! 😊
Loved this hike, I really adore your take on stopping along the way to take it all in. It’s so common to be passed by people listening to music, having loud and disconnected conversations, or just plain in a hurry to get to the destination rather than find joy in the journey. Allowing nature to fill every sense is what it’s all about, and you surely show that through your genuine and obvious appreciation of everything you see and experience. One day I hope to make a way to get back out there. It’s folks like you that inspire the ol’ “where there’s a will, there’s a way” attitude. Thank you once again for another fun adventure!
Thanks for those kind comments Michele, really hope you can get out there and enjoy this beautiful country! ❤️
Really awesome! Are the falls so well hidden that I completely missed it?
They are just not real big, more like rock falls!
Did you go all the way back to the actual falls? They aren't shown in this video. The falls is about 250 feet upstream of where you are filming at 8:25 in that narrow canyon. They fall a good 10 to 12 feet with a nice plunge pool to swim in.
That was waist darn auto correct 😊
😂
Would be interested what all you carry in your backpacks?
They are water packs but we also carry snacks, extra batteries, keys etc etc ……
