Thunderfury is definitely a hunter weapon.
sad truth spell hunter is fucking broken but naxx is not out so its not very viable and who tf is going to give hunter bis cloth dps gear

@@scratchy996 spam wing clip and murder you if you play classic your char atm would get killed in 3 secs if you had the same gear on a fun server even if your tank or pally healer

our off tank just got his second binding on herod, but we werent ready and now got 5 DM East groups running to get the arcane crystals
Our guild got both bindings, second one dropped around Xmas, a miracle really. We're already working on the mats and will hopefully get it soon after phase 3 releases.

On old blanchy our horde guild has the 2 bindings and the piece from ragnaros for our guilds main tank and obtained them all in 2 weeks back to back
I got my bindings in back to back MC runs! The arcanite and gold farm is daunting. But I’m so looking forward to getting it!
My maintank is duo running dm east with a pally / priest heal for arcane crystals. Works so far and with boes and librams and felcloth and stuff its a great money maker as well.

Damn dude, I run pugs every week since my guild doesnt have a large enough of a core raid to do a full run, about 16 raiders. I also was planning on starting my farming for my TF when I get one binding, little did i know, I happened to get both in one run weds.

Many Furbolgs and Yeti's died back in the day, that'll learn them to stand near Thorium nodes. Used mine pretty much all of TBC, although there was a nerf (proc rate ?) towards the tail end of TBC which whilst a bit annoying for those who had one but like you said Tanks fell into the have/have not which quite crappy for the have nots

QUESTION. Can the final part (where you kill the elemental boss) be ruined? Can an enemy guild horde or alliance mess it up?
When some mates and I 3 manned TBC content at 70 during MOP, I used this thing through the entire expansion. Single most impactful weapon you could have.
Hey, as i said before, Thunderfury is crap in TBC :(. Even weapon from first TBC raid - tbc-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?item=28749 , even heroic dungeon weapons are better. And if you mean aoe tanking... Warriors are crap in aoe tanking no matter what in tbc. You would rather like to have prot paladin for it.
And in case you dont know, Thunderfury proc doesnt stack with thunderclap.
There is a guild in the Thunderfury server who has two people with both binding and 100 arcanite bars each.
My MT and I (OT) have both bindings on Sulfuras Horde
Thunderfury is my ultimate goal in classic. I’m a warrior on Faerlina and the TF procc alone is just godlike 😍😍😍

I remember when I got this weapon after Naxx raid had arrived.
The OP look and insane proc rate it had was just a true legendary weapon.
In the hand of a fury warrior, this was every melee nightmare to face in PVP. in PVE this was every tanks nightmare. Holding aggro off a fury warrior was hard AF unless he himself had the TF.
It was just funnier to watch them go down if you were a frost mage
My guild leader has both bindings. I also know of 3 others on alliance Herod. Thats 4 people total on a highly Horde populated realm. Im speculating around 7 to 10 people have both bindings on Herod alone
My guild on Faerlina has a person with 2 bindings and 3 others with 1. The one with 2 has all 100 Arcanite Bars already too
Amurica from Thundercats on Whitemane has both Bindings. Artimus our main tank from our 2nd raid is missing the Garr binding. Whitemane has been confirmed as the largest server due to it's long cue times still.
Also I play on Faerlina as Horde. I have been hopeing to see you(and probably would die to you as I am a low level shaman healer). But I will probably just have to catch you on my main in AV.

Herod has a lot more players that log their raids almost 50% more than Faerlina. Based on warcraft logs numbers. Also we finally got our first binding drop to weeks ago and the second last week so our MT is set. We might be the only horde to have in on Heartseeker but our population is tiny as its Alliance dominated.
I’ve seen 5 bindings, 2 eyes of divinity, and 12 leafs.... as a priest. It hurts.

on my server the biggest guild on kirtonos - The Oranthul have 3 sets of bindings. Nova the second has 2 sets and as does mine Fresh

This is what new expansions needs, as you said you know only couple of them that is going to have tf. Now everyone have legendary items, quests are long but not hard. I remember back in the days that quest was mind blowing.

My guild got 4 complete bindings aswell as 4 other warriors with bindings. Our drop rate on bindings have been insane!
So you can't start the quest with only one half of the bindings... I know because I went into my bank after I watched this and wanted to go to Silithus but, yeah, you can't in Classic. The video was awesome tho. Thank you
Can another raid engage the thunderfury boss before your raid does? If yes what happens then? Same about the quest item that drops at the end, can it be ninja?
We've had 3 Garr binding drops. 4 months later, still no Geddon binding.

The main tank in my guild on EU Ten-storms has both bindings and 100 arcanite bars ready
@punkrat Rainhart on horde in Legion guild has both bindings, which were acquired in the same raid.
I don't know about alliance but as for faerlina horde we alone have quite a few more bindings [4+). Just a heads up
There is 3 people in my guild on Firemaw horde, that have both bindings alone. We have 5 raid teams, so 3 of them have it :P almost no BRE's or Spinal reapers tho. think we have 2 total BRE

How often is the proc rate on MH and OH? And do you know if a rogue Does get it.... if it should be placed in MH for phase 3 over any other 1h weapons? And why if so?

You can also use Thunderfury as a rogue. I know the weapon is mainly used by tanks, but I just found it to be a fun fact.
Give it to a rogue for PvP. The nature resistance debuff for poisons are OP
The most cancerous thing about it is that it slows attack speed of the target, so if u're on arms spec good luck swinging ur sht

There's a guild on my server (Arugal, OCE) with three sets of bindings. Meanwhile, my guild, which has been clearing MC since week 3, is yet to see an Eye, Binding, BRE, Spinal Reaver, or Core Hound Tooth. . . RNG is a harsh mistress.

Thunderfury was heavily nerfed in TBC, so it was only very situational and if you didn't have a prot pally

We have all the mats for 2 thunderfurrys in our guild.. 1 for each raid team. Besides mats that arnt out yet.
Can someone explain the gameplay video to me? Did I just see a tank with TF obtaining another TF!? Was it possible to do this quest even after newer expansions and therefore "easier"?
Idk anything about this game, but my bf plays it and the bindings just dropped for him while in mc, and I'm just slowly trying to understand the game better so I know what he's doing. Such a great weapon. :)

@@punishment2560 If not then people are really unlucky on faerlina...I'm playing on a german pvp server that has good population but isn't even close to faerlinas and I know already 2 players on horde and 6 on alliance with both bindings

In vanilla, my guild didnt know what the bindings were for. This was just a few months into launch and I am ashamed to say that the first binding went to a hunter who spent dkp on it.
the shame is to blizzard for making it available to hunters and never fixed it

Nah, there's more than 3 on Faerlina. I know of at least 2 other alliance guilds with both bindings outside of the ones you mentioned.

I did a numbercrunch real quick and the number of guilds with both bindings is probably larger than you realise. Assuming a typical raiding guild has killed both bosses needed 14 times so far, if the true droprate is 4% they have about a 19% chance of having both bindings. If the true droprate is 3% it's more like a 12% chance of having both. Using Wowhead classic it actually looks like the Garr binding has a better droprate than the Geddon one at 2 and 6% respectively. If this is the case it's something like 14% chance of having them both already. Looking at census data, assuming that you need about 60 active L60s to maintain a raiding guild and that about half of active 60s are raiders you get about 3 or 4 guilds currently with both bindings for a typical server/faction. This tallies up with my server where there are 2 guilds I know of with both bindings, so there are probably 1 or 2 with both that I don't know about. On a server like Faerlina there may well be considerably more.

@@Blessedup69 it was cleared...just nothing approaching a "speed clear" what, like two dozen guilds actually cleared it.... my guild actually beat all the bosses at least once, but never in a single reset
