      Yes. But I cut of the bristles and glued a sand paper on.

    Incredible job, any cracking from the fillers at all?

    Sehr schöne Figuren. Wenn ich jetzt noch mit Blender Figuren machen könnte, dann wäre der Resin Printer auf dem Weg.

      Danke! Daran übe ich mich auch ab und zu. Bis dahin gibts ja aber auch jede Menge fertiges im Internet zu finden!

      @@evolutionxstudios das stimmt. Aber der Drucker müsste im Zimmer mit meinem PC stehen, an dem ich abends viel sitze. Und so eine Lackierkabine zum schleifen etc auch. Hm oder due kommt auf den Balkon. Nach dem ja jetzt der Saturn 2 in 8 k raus ist, hoffe ich fallen die Preise. Bin suf weitere Videos gespannt.

      @@DieTabbi den Drucker würde ich mir nicht neben den Pc oder in ein Zimmer in der Wohnung stellen mit dem Gestank und möglichen Gesundheitsfolgen. Da würde ich den Drucker eher auch auf den Balkon stellen. Aber dann hat man wiederum das Problem mit der Sonne…

    What scale did you print the surfer at ? Was it 1:4 ?

    Where can I get that silver surfer file?

    • @evolutionxstudios

      Try to contact cbs.labs on Instagram or Eduardo Temporao on Facebook. He had a CgTrader page that is offline because too many of his files were sold somewhere else

    Amazing job!!! Does the wood filler cause future problems with any cracks? I ask because I never used... thx for video :)

      @evolutionxstudios  2 года назад +1

      Thanks Marko! Good question, I actually don‘t have any real loong-term test experience there. The board is primed since August last year and so far no cracks inside. Probably also depends on the brand and type of filler. The one I‘m using is really smooth with no texture. I guess with a couple of coats of paint and without any stress on the model it should be fine - fingers crossed

      @@evolutionxstudios thanks for the feedback. I'm going to test it here on some models and I'm going to use it smooth and without texture. A big hug from Brazil!

      @@evolutionxstudios honestly, I would just use Milliput or Apoxie Sculpt for all your seams, and an auto body filler for the surfaces (print lines, etc). They won't shrink, crack, dry out, or give differential responses to primers and paints.

    • @evolutionxstudios
      @evolutionxstudios  2 года назад +1

      @@kevinfutter What I don't like about auto body filler is the terrible smell and the fact that (most of the time) it's a two component filler. And if it's not a two component filler I guess you have the problem that the tube dries out before you are done with it - happens with the Tamiya putty as well

    Follower u on Insta also I recognize that Duplicolor Gloss Black, got the same brand here in RO. The cool thing is i was just testing that Green Stuff World Chrome Brush version with the airbrush 2 days ago and got some small bubbles on it but when applying with a brush using the dabbing method it doesn't have that. I basically used my 0.5 Iwata Revolution airbrush, thinned it 10-5 with IPA at 17 PSI and i applied it as a heavy coat, do i need to apply it as multiple light coats? It doesn't seem to rub off it left a few days to fully cure.

    • @evolutionxstudios
      @evolutionxstudios  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! I didn't thin mine at all, but used the 0.8mm nozzle. You definitely need to apply it heavy, it needs to flow on the surface to create the perfect chrome effect. I also tried multiple thin coats but that didn't work at all for me, no chrome look at all.

    • @TheIcemanModdeler
      @TheIcemanModdeler 2 года назад

      @@evolutionxstudios I see, will experiment, i basically tried to apply it heavy as 1 coat and got tiny bubbles in the paint, this guy in the link bellow got a great result with the same paint but didn't specify how he applied it, only said in a comment in the vid he used 6-1 GSW thinner, 12 PSI on a 0.5 mm needle. ruclips.net/video/5zVTBpILN24/видео.html

    Hi can you send me the adhesive used in figers

    • @evolutionxstudios
      @evolutionxstudios  2 года назад

      It's from Pattex and it's called something like "Stability Express". It's pretty expensive and I don't know if it's available all around the world. But actually every two part epoxy glue you can get your hands on should work.

    I think when I Mae the leap into getting a 3D printer I’ll go with a resin printer. More details far less sanding

    • @evolutionxstudios
      @evolutionxstudios  2 года назад +1

      It really depends on the use case. Especially for large and functional parts I also really appreciate my FDM printer and the fact that you don‘t have to handle with all the nasty chemicals.

      @@evolutionxstudios that’s true. I see myself printing statues and movie replica/props for display. I enjoy the end result. I just need to get in zbrush to design my own. But no rush, too many amazing artist out there selling their designs.
