- I got my hands on one of the first K-Supreme Plus SMART units on the market - I bought it direct from Keurig and had it shipped to my door.
Having never used it before I felt that an unboxing video would best serve the community - in this video you see exactly what you get when you pick up a Supreme SMART from Keurig.

Excited about this one. Would like to figure out the purpose of the small light that turns on as you are closing the lid.
That small light is all about reading the mini QR code on many k-cups. That's how the Brew ID works. I'll have another video or two coming out soon on this machine where I talk more about that in the coming days and weeks. Still using the machine before making vids about it. I want to provide the best intel I can.

Hey Fred, I finally gave my K-Mini to my sister-in-law this past year but I do still really like my K-Mini Plus. It's a little loud but I really like being able to brew 7-ounce cup sizes. :D I'm interested in the tutorial; aside from coffee and lawn care I do like taking on wood working projects from time to time. I have K Supreme plus. One thing I don't like about it, is it spits coffee on my counter from coffee cup while brewing. And I notice it is slower brewing than my old Keurig.
I have the same issue with mine.
Hey Karen, the slow brew is what I like most about it. The slow flow helps with the flavor extraction...but I know what you are talking about with the splatter. When I use shorter mugs the splatter is annoying for sure. There should be a diffuser or something to direct slow flow into the cup for less splatter. Not sure how they would do that but some engineer should be able to figure that one out.
I was hoping to at least hear you talk about the features it comes with added from and different from the plus.
Different video you are talking about. That's the next vid coming out later this week. Opening the box I didn't know the added features other than connectivity. That's my whole thing, unbiased reviews from a person hat actually cares about the coffee. I have no interest in talking about features I don't know about yet but rest assured I'll have a helpful feature set vid out to compliment this as well as a comparison to the models released last year.
Could you please let me know the rated power consumption (wattage) of Keurig K-Supreme Plus SMART ? Thanks ! I'm trying to use this in a 220-V ecosystem in India, by adding a 220V to 110V step-down transformer.
Keurig has had to send me 4 different K Supreme plus brewers. After about 2-3 months it stops brewing a full cup of coffee. One time the descaling sensor went bad. I only drink one cup of coffee a day and I run a water cycle after that. It’s usually used for hot water for tea bags. I am anxious to see your review on the smart one I’m hoping it’s more stable.

Same here as well! When you call support you can tell from the questions they ask they know another one is coming back.
They’ll replace it no problem but what a hassle. Fix the problem!!
That's a terrible run! So far the only new Keurig I ever had a problem with was the pump on a K-Cafe. Had it replaced easily enough. I brew a lot of cups too so maybe I'm fortunate. As for the review. I don't want to rush it but I don't want to wait forever either. This week I'll be releasing my first impression vid followed by a comparison to the Supreme Plus for those wondering the differences. I really do hope people find this one more durable. Fingers crossed.
