The Cocinaire Krush in an interesting machine, but I'm not sure where it fits in. Would you be able to use something like this? And if so, how and where? Super curious. If you liked this video, you might like this ice cream maker comparison video as well: ruclips.net/video/o6aVLKMhBP8/видео.html

That would be great! Likely it won't keep in cold enough for long enough for that.... Unless you're a good hiker.. That ice cream could be good motivation to go faster, though.

I make incredible one ingredient watermelon sorbet on Ninja Creami so I would like to see if this can do the same thing or can it even make sorbet.

It can do it, but it's going to be a tiny portion, and it's not going to have the texture that the Creami produces for you. Those Creami machines put out some great stuff.

I bought one recently and I find it incredibly difficult to make ice cream:
So after placing the freezer bowl in the freezer for 12 hours, I pour all my ingredients in, the substance quickly solidified in which I feel like forcing the paddle in. Then after turning on the switch, the motor spins but the paddle remain stuck in motionless! Meaning the entire execution fails miserably! Then I took another route by putting the bowl in the fridge to thaw a little overnight just to see if it will work this time. It did work, the paddle was able to get into the thick liquid and start churning. So I thought to myself, it might work this time. After 20 minutes it stops, the end result was a cold thick creamy slush and it didn’t form into actual ice cream. This implies, the bowl in the fridge wasn’t cold enough to make it to work but putting where the bowl should be, in the freezer overnight. It was too cold to make ice cream! The sweet irony I’m returning it!

Yeah... it seemed like a decent idea on paper, but they didn't execuite it well at all. When you put it in the freezer, did you just freeze it by itself, or did you have any ingredients in it at the time? I should go in alone, and you just add the cream and stuff in right when you are about to make it. If it sits in there for a while before you start churning, it will freeze up quick, since the machine is so small and it really only holds about a cup or so of liquid in it.

Thanks for your review, Joe. Now I know this is something I definitely don't want.

Just received my free one I won in a competition, let's just say I wish someone else had won it, the added mix immediately freezes to the inside of the container, making it barely possible for the mixer to move, complete failure.

Yeah.. I agree. Good idea, not so great on the execution.

Really pointless product... Like you said, how are you supposed to take it away if the base needs to be frozen. Two spoons capacity and one of them gets stuck in the paddle 😅. Between the paddle coming apart and getting stuck in the ice cream, the warping of the frozen base, this just feels like a pointless, cheaply made, crowdfunded product.
I bought the Ninja Creami Deluxe about 3 weeks ago after seeing your video and I couldn't be happier with it.

Yeah... It's a really mixed bag... Maybe they were trying a little to hard to fill a market that isn't really in need of filling? So glad you're enjoying your Creami Deluxe!

I'm with you - who is this for? 🤔 Fun idea, terrible execution.

Basically. Not ready for prime time. Thanks. Otoh, it would make a dandy white elephant gift.

Way too cumbersome for such a tiny bit of ice cream that is similar to soft serve in texture
