Your 19? Dude... most 25 to 30 year olds are not as put together and articulate as you. Well done to your parents they did good w/ you. THIS MAN is an example of good parenting ppl.
Just got back from Medellin and Cartagena. had a great trip. did not go out late at night so we had no problems at all. Great food, nice people in general.
Thanks for sharing, I'm from Medellin and planning to bring my entire family from us, all my son's in laws and daughters in law, grand kids and so on.❤

I'm 18 and want to solo travel to Cartagena, I'll only stay in the city but wanted to know if it's safe. I'm a US Citizen and will go to Colombia in November.
Be VERY careful in Cartagena as it's known as the worst for the dangers I mentioned for tourists. Don't let others know your traveling solo. If you get the chance I'd explore other areas of Colombia as well. Cheers!
No dar papaya, try to be with locals or friends, stay a way of lady’s i you don’t know them, keep your self on safe places, ask for the price of products before you have it food beer any thing else, don’t let your drinks on your table if you’re going to the bathroom keep always your eyes on your drinks. You haven’t travelled much if you think no country is safe. Try places like Dubai, UAE and China. You can walk around in china drunk, alone and at night ANYWHERE in ANY city and not be in danger.
Safe areas = Most of Europe, UAE, Japan, SK, Singapore, Canada, Australia. Large areas of China are in a state of a third world country and it's not a traveller friendly destination.
@@BonVoyage861 agreed with your list except AUS and CAN. there are shady parts of sydney and melbourne. don't know where in CAN you were but toronto and vancouver have loads of criminality, drug abuse and homelesness. rural china is 3rd world but not unsafe. @@BonVoyage861 yeah, safe compared to the south bronx but dangerous compared to any east asian or middle eastern city. you can't cherry pick nice areas in an OK city and declare it safe. you can drop me anywhere in China and I will have no fear or being assaulted or killed or robbed by another person.

Safer than the US actually
