This confirmed to me that it's possible to turn on A + B on the MD500 (or DD500) with one switch on the ES-8. But I didn't see you explain that in the video? I'd like to set up the ES-8 to turn on 2 delay settings at once on the DD500, A and B. Thanks!
What I'm trying to do is slow/fast speed with the rotary effect which is assigned to tap/ctrl third switch on MD500 should be easy but it ain't for some reason!
@@rdragon5020 yes I'm not using the es5/8 I'm using moringstar mc6 but I was wondering the midi commands on the MD500 were to make it switch from fast to slow ?
Hi! I'm new at this and I need some help. I can't find any info on this. How do I assign a midi channel on a Boss DD-500, MD-500 or RV-500? All of them are linked between each otherwith MIDI cables and connected to the ES-8. The DD-500 is in loop 8, MD-500 is in loop 7, RV-500 is in loop 6
Hello! I am looking for someone who will solve my problem with parallel loops. Is it true that in boss version 2 parallel loops are replaced by separated loops?
I'm not sure if it's the answer to your question. ES-8 / 5 can connect any loop in parallel. But the loops are not independent. This is the internal processing of ES-8 / 5. If you are in trouble, please consult the manufacturer.
Brilliant Job! Please do more Es-8 contents!

Excellent.
Great video but wish there was vocal explanation in more detail.
Hi. Great video! I can't seem to get my BOSS RV500 to communicate with my ES-8. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You step on the ES-8/5 again.
And do you want to switch between rotary slow/fast?

I looked it up. I cannot operate the tap switch with MIDI. RATE is CC#17 and DEPTH is CC#18. How about using this to change the rotation speed?
