👍👍👍 Already a big improvement in your skill level. If I remember correctly Dave has at least one video on how to insert lights into the router and to make a cut-out to allow the camera to follow the progress. Thanks Kevin

Looking good…with the right bits you’ll do great. I’ve been carving signs for 12 years now.

Fantastic....amazing what a bit of practice will do for the skill set!!! Nice work!! Oh and remember what that great Philosopher and Sooth Sayer Eli Hewitt once said "Repetition is the Mother of Skill"

Dave has acrylic base plates with handles that are game changers and adds fairy lights and modifies the router for move viewing pleasure. Awesome job though. I'm a newbie in carving myself and like all the advise and videos I can obtain.

I think both deer look good, but I might like the black one a little better.

You just might have a new career developing here. You just might be the newest wood engraver.

You may want to make a plexiglass base for your router. That way it’s exactly what you want.

it would be a lot easier to just router out the negative space and glue your stencil deer in place. you could even make the routered space deeper than the stencil and then epoxy over it. that might look cool.

I don't use my router much but this does look interesting. can you tell me how long it takes to create these images as it does seem like a lengthy process.

It does take longer to do your first one but after that it's all good you have a pattern.

I was thinking more along the lines of time to actually do the carving out with the router@@Robinson-Homestead

It don't take to long I like to carve them out you can use bigger bits it will help with the time it takes.
