"Protocol 3. I will not lose another pilot." -Bravo Tango BT 7274. Wellhello. Did you even play it? I sure did. But you got the line WRONG. The most human moment with BT was "Got you. 👍.". BT still followed protocol and saved his pilot at the end. BT gave Cooper his SERE kit. Also giving his data core, Data knife. And smart pistol. Another titan was released with no data core. This game is still one of the best shooters I have ever played. The PVP was so much fun and smooth. Calling in your Titan in the middle of a match... so much fun! I really wish they would relaunch the servers or something.
So my explanation for BT being alive-ish after the post credits: During 'Effect and Cause', BT downloaded some of his AI into Jack's helmet so he could communicate across timelines. Just before he 'died' on Typhon, I think he did it again.
It's because of how unsuccessful Titanfall 2 was at launch, and battle royales, such as apex, make more money. They don't want to risk Titanfall 3 when they have apex that makes 2 billion in 3 years.
This is one of those campaigns where it leaves you wanting more, but it probably would have outstayed its welcome if it did. A great balance of action, emotion, and unique moments.
Some of the concept art used for profile tags and things makes me think there could have been more good missions, but this was just enough to leave a strong impression with distinct environments and threats. Besides, without more things for progression in the campaign, titan arsenal acquisition would have wrapped up too soon before the finale or been too drawn out.
Titanfall 2 singlehandedly shaped my love for movement based shooters, and the FPS genre as a whole. I remember spending weeks in college playing these levels over and over just to get the fastest time possible. I was so excited when we finally got Apex Legends, and while the game is incredible, it just never found that balance for me. I've always like it was missing something. Every time I see someone experience the joy of this campaign for the first time it makes me realize that Apex is just missing that "wow factor." The movement, gunplay, and level design is just top notch. Loved the video and your personality, definitely gained a subscriber and I look forward to watching your Titanfall 3 gameplay in 2040 or whenever that happens LOL.
Loved this game, shame the campaign was so short. So much fun being almost overwhelmed by enemies and then jumping into the mech suit and devastating everything. Edit: Dakka Dakka Dakka!
I was literally screaming in frustration when Tomo was running around looking for a pistol in the tick level, not realising that you can indeed carry two primaries.
Thanks for playing this Tom, this was wonderful living vicariously through you. One of my favourite FPS games, heartbroken whenever I think about how it was treated, and that we may not get a 3rd with the success of Apex Legends.
I love how chill this guy is but why is he missing all the dialogue options it's driving me insane 😭 some of them are really funny conversations. Like poor BT he just doesn't wanna talk to him 😭🙏🏻
Ash didn't die really, because she was a human consciousness housed inside a robotic, Simulacrum body, she was able to survive her fight against Cooper and BT and be remade by Vision Dynamics, a weapons company that specializes in building Titans. I don't know much about TF or Apex, basically nothing really, but googled out of curiosity after it's mentioned, makes sense though too.

This game had so much potential but it was killed because it was released between the biggest hyped games of the year. Only if it was dropped after it would’ve been different. If Titan fall 3 ever comes out I can officially die happy.

I bought this game after years from release date, just for this highly decent campaign. This campaign may be quite short but unbelievably satisfying! :) I would willingly play more of such game. For me the graphic and mechanics do not even need any changes. This is already close to ideal. The action, special effects, the voice work - both, in the dubbing and the background... this is a masterpiece.
