8:57 the smiles on everyone's face 😄. The drone footage was beautiful, 4:12 was a standout. Great video, love the winch use at the end, got to preserve the track 😀
Nice work gents! Keep these coming. Absolutely love the drone footage of the bush. Makes me miss home a lot! Can't wait to join you guys when I eventually get back in town.
Good work fellas. Skipped the proper hill climbs & made it look a bit tough in places but much better that than tackling something you're not confident doing or ripping the place up. There's more good tracks out there if you spend the time to find them or have a guide that knowd the area. Keep it up 🤙
@@Perth4WDandCamping Yeah it can be pretty harsh on tyres out there if you're not careful. On my way there right now actually 😂 Keep up the good work 🤙
Been doing this track for about 4 years now and noticing the track becoming more degraded as it becomes more popular, however well done guys for taking it nice and easy and using a winch for a controlled assist where needed, 🤙👍
Was fun and challenging. Tyres are 275 70 17 Falken Wildpeak AT3. I’m running Monster Weapon rims. 2” lift on Ironman foam cells. Ironman bullbar is on also which helps clearance and opens up more tyre size options.

Mate you'll be pretty surprised how far you can push that everest, in rock mode, low range and diff locker engeged, I've taken mine up near vertical climbs, the sort of climbs you'd think impossible to do, I love mine aye, only problem after 5 hours thrashing low range on tough tracks feels like the box gets a little tired probably from running hot, my vehicles heavily moded though
"We're doing the track in reverse which is harder because we have to go up these hill climbs" ... I find descents much harder. Less control, can't see as much.
Both definitely can be challenging. For us both vehicles (the Pajero Sport and Everest) have hill decent assist which made going down easier for us. Definitely need to pick your line wisely and there were some blind sections. We walked some areas beforehand also.
@@Perth4WDandCamping Fair enough. I went down something a bit hectic a few weeks back and I just couldn't get a line that stopped my car lifting the rear and leaning down the hill. FT! Found a spot to turn around and went back up with much more confidence. I was also on my own - a spotter may have helped.

Thanks Lee. The bush isn’t going anywhere soon so be good to see you on the tracks in the future!
I recently went to julimar for the first time, loved it, favourite 4wdriving Forrest tracks 👍👍👍
Yeah it’s a great track isn’t it! Not only challenging, but great views of the bush. We’ll be back in the future.
@@Perth4WDandCamping absolutely 👍👍👍
good work guys - really coming along!!!
Thanks so much 🙌

Thanks! Yes there’s plenty to explore around Julimar and I’m sure we’ll be back 👍 Tyres got a bit of a beating and cut up on some sharp rocks

That big uphill is mental, I've done it plenty of times going down and that's hard enough,. Couldnt imagine going up haha
It definitely raised the heart rate!

For sure and of course running correct tyre pressures. We were at 24 PSI
Nice video. What size wheels and tyres on Ford Everest? Thanks
Hi Kartik, they are the stock 18 inch Trend wheels with larger 32 inch Falken Wildpeak tyres. Really happy with them. - Brett
Definitely enough there to come unstuck if over confident
For sure Mario. Good fun but glad I had Brett along for the ride. Slow and steady wins on that sort of terrain
Cheers for the vid! We did the track the other day and had the same feedback as you 😳
What size and type tyres for the PS? And is it lifted by 2”?

Go the Everest
Did it without too much fuss!
Are you using rear diff lock and killing the TC like a dummy or u using rock mode?
TC off and rear diff on for the big hill only
