Where it all started…
I watched initial D growing up. The main character and his friends were working at a gas station to save up for their first car.
At grade 8 I was chatting with a classmate and he said his father ran a gas station at Garden City and Lansdowne. Shout out to Gabe and Joseph for giving me my first job.
Started working for $6 an hour. It wasn’t much at the time but I was happy to start somewhere.
I would learn about cars when I complimented the owners about their cars while filling up gas and washing windshields for tips.
Some people swear by Chevron 94 for the best quality of fuel while others get Shell V power 93.
