Just had mine at the Cummins shop here in Ft Worth. They trouble shot mine down to this exact part. They called it a TCI Module. I had them order it and told them I’d install to save on labor costs. Won’t let me upload photo of package so I’ll type it in I guess. Part was $26.19 A058V040 or A064D666 A064D666:Indicator Lights 8.9800
It’s an Ignition Module and a very common failure of no spark condition for most modern inverter generators. I have found most of these ign modules with the 3 led lights inbuilt are pretty much the same internally except for the plug connection on the back. If you can obtain the wiring diagram for the faulty machine and a wiring diagram for the new ign module purchased for its machine, they can be interchanged and made to work. For example I have the wiring diagrams for a kipor gs2000 genset and it’s virtual identically to a Ryobi rig2000 inverter ign module wiring, only difference is the kipor has a 10 pin straight plug on it, the Ryobi a double row 5 pin plug (10 pins in total) two wires are different colours is the only difference but easily repined / connected.
The part number is A …then number zero 58V then more numbers 040 A058V040 …. All of the characters are numbers except for the A and the V. I learned this when I called the CUMMINS dealer after I took the number off of this post, which was awesome that this gentleman shared his video experience of repairing the snow start My character after the A from the beginning of the part, number was right, but the next character was a number, not a letter . Hope this helps.
I am having the exact same issue. I can’t find the part anywhere. If you wanna make some extra cash I’d pay for your time if you checked the place you bought yours
There’s Cummins dealers in Fresno California that’s where I got my parts get the part’s number on my videos and go to the dealer they mind not have it but they can order it. Thanks for watching my video
Thanks for the info! This was exactly what I needed, and it only took me 10 minutes to swap it out. Cost was $25. Appreciate it!
You welcome

Your part number you provided comes back for a high altitude carb kit.
@@ourtimeourspeed The parts number I provide is the one I took it off from my generator so i replaced the same part number
If you check the part you looked up for the high altitude carb kit it ends in 024, the ignitor is an 040@@ourtimeourspeed
Is there a way to bypass this module?
I don’t know
No machine won’t have spark without it.
Mine starts for like 3 seconds and then shuts off...
Same here, got it all tore down and the hurricane is due tomorrow 😮 I was thinking it was a blocked fuel filter but that looks good.
