Hello mate. I always tell people your Dad was probably the most naturally talented band member. It's so physically challenging playing drums and he handled that easily and could play at amazing speed too. I suppose we were all competent at what we did individually and were all a bit mad too at times, some laughs, but I have to mention the fact that we were allowed to practice in your Gran's house and we were so tight because of that. All the best
Almost 30 years of listening to punk rock, and just when you think you’ve heard everything from 1976 to now, along comes these little rare and hidden punk gems to remind you that punk is always bigger than you think, and will never die. Fun band to listen to, somewhere between hard and heavy, and light and fun, with the kind of musical composition - tempo, limited chord arrangements, sharp melodies balanced with steady driving baselines, and the high-speed drums that keep you dancing and pogo’ing along. And of course, the vocals that make punk what it is; a come one, come all singalong!
Thanks Jason It’s good to hear your feedback/assessment. I wrote the songs and it just felt that there was only one way to play them, it was how it was with Punk then. Everyone seem to know what was required of them. A year prior to that none of us had ever picked up an instrument
@Mick Flannery this band you were part of in your youth, that may or may not mean much to you now, means a lot to myself and many others.
