You miss the one last important point according to me
When they photobombs the selfie and found that there pic isn't taken which gives us two perspective
First is ours that they're in other world together
Second is their's that they'll never accepted by human world

I hate people when they ridicule Bollywood for not making good movies, Isn't the reason for that the audience itself. Such a gem of a movie beautifully portrayed a heart wrenching story and got ignored. The breakdown of Qais into Majnu as the song Hafiz Hafiz played and the act portrayed by Avinash Tiwary is still one of the best I have ever witnessed. Safe to say much better than Kabir Singh's breakdown. That movie too was nice in its own way, but the deserving one got shoved into archives.

One of the best lines in this movie jo mujhe personally bahut achi lagi wo hai " Mana ki main apni maashooq se baat kar raha tha isliye apko nahi dekh paya... Magar aap bhi to apne maashooq se baat kar rahe the.....ap logo ne mujhe kaise dekh liya.. " means Conversation between Allah And their people... Namaaz ke waqt ❤ so beautiful 😊

I saw interview for this in which music director mentioned that o meri laila ( radio version) they made it like its incomplete and they wanted to feel like complete in the end ...so the atif version

    • @ToonBoyTV
      @ToonBoyTV 5 месяцев назад +11

The radio version actually represent the starting of Qais becoming Majnu as the song has different lyrics as "Majnu kahi na ho jau mai laila" which means they are not in to each other at that moment. But in the end he finally become Majnu and lyrics converted into "Kabse mai tera hu kabse tu meri Laila".

The one thing i understand is that coming to the end..Majnu ko pyaar krne k liye ab khud laila ki hi jarurat nahi hai..voh khud laila ban chuka hai or bas ab apni uss pahad k peeche wali duniya m khush hai.
And another one that just gave me goosebumps was the line.."m toh apni mashuka se baat kar rha tha mujhe aap nhi dikhe phir aap bhi toh apne mashuk se baat kr rhe thhe toh m aapko kaise dikha?? The think i felt here is that voh pyaar m itna pagal h ki usse aas paas ki duniya or log nhi dikh rahe toh namaz pdhte log usse kaise dekh paa rhe h jbki vo bhi apne mashuk mtlb allah se baat kar rahe hai...I totally loved the whole movie ❤

I recently watched this movie last week in theatre, and I literally had goosebumps from this masterpiece. Ever since then, Hafiz hafiz has been on repeat, and now I understand why that song touched me so much. The rest of the songs were also fabulous. Have to give it to the composers for creating this exquisite tapestry of music,
Also my favourite part in the movie, was the last vision he experienced before becoming one with Laila, the verdant hill(which he considered his haven), the beautiful waterfall(which he was mesmerised by and wanted to know its origin), a house( where he wanted to spend the rest of the eternity with his Laila) and most importantly, his Maqsad and Manzil, Laila.
All of this, while lying beside Laila's grave, taking his final breaths....
And Thank you so much for highlighting and decoding the beauty of love in this movie!

After have you heard Dr.Arora music, i was eagerly waiting for Laila Majnu music. It's such a refreshing video of such refreshing songs.
I have always loved how radios play a third person perspective, for eg. Ishq Risk in Mere Brother ki Dulhan.
Loved your insights on the Kashmiri folk songs specially the Hukus Bukus part.
Tum nazar mein raho and Aahista are gem tracks! there's also this female version of tum nazar mein raho by Jyotica, which is comparatively peppier than other versions (haven't watched the movies so don't know if it's there in the movie.) But it's beautiful.
Please keep bringing such videos. ❤️ More power to you. 🌻

Honestly, the views on the video is such because the movie and it's music remains niche.. yet the intention here is to share stories I feel moved by and the best part is when you, sync with my feelings.
I will keep the endeavour moving! Thanks for always checking on the content :)

I think you missed to explain “O Meri Laila” better, like for example, the O Meri Laila that plays on the radio has different lyrics than the one sung at the end. The radio one depicts how the guy is trying to express himself “kaise batau baatein mai laila, rakhi hai dil mai chupake jo laila” and at the end, the song in the end explains how they are together after death, and there’s no worries of anything, how she is the most beautiful on both earth and heaven (or wherever they are), etc. Otherwise the video is great!!!!🎉

I'm watching this video in September 24 , already a Laila majnu fan , movie n songs both , watched the entire video in one length, fall in love with these songs once again,
Just a pain in my heart that I was so hopeful that Laila majnu will win the best songs category but it didn't happened. It should have.

From the very first teaser of this movie all the way back in early 2018, I could immediately sense that it was going to break my heart. Something about Avinash Tiwary's performance struck a chord deep in me. Mohit Chauhan was on fire at that time - we were still living in the era of his legendary collaboration with A R Rahman in Rockstar and Tamasha. So to hear Hafiz Hafiz over rushes of a crazed and bearded Qais "jhoom"-ing dervish-like around the specter of his Laila got me infinitely more hyped for the movie.
Despite having listened to Aahista Aahista thousands of times since the album's release, the emotions still hit like an absolute tsunami. Even the brief lines played here put my tear ducts into overdrive. This song is my anthem for when I'm missing my wife while she is away, and I put it on whenever I feel like a good solid lovelorn cry.
@inotherwordsyt Would you consider doing an explainer for Ikk Kudi from Udta Punjab? Perhaps a bit more straightforward, but it has so much background and buildup to it as well, I think it fits beautifully with this format!

Laila Manu is one of my favorite movie albums ever since it came out, if not the most favorite and I have teared up throughout the movie coz of the depth of feelings it has evoked - your video did the same for me today, my heart is full as I'm typing this because you so beautifully took the viewer on the same story arc through its music. You just earned a new subscriber. Lajawaab!
