24 Discovery 3 & 4's and one lone Range Rover Sport from the AULRO forum head to some of the extreme 4WD trails around Lithgow for an action packed weekend.
Would love to spend more time on the camera and editing but that would mean less time enjoying the drive and less trips. Trying hard to balance it all against the busy demands of a growing family and a busy business life
Great video again guys. Love to see modern Landies taking on all the same tracks as the "tougher" old trucks. What tracks were those? I recognise some of them but there are a few bits I'd like to checkout next trip.
...been driving/wheeling Range Rover Classics and D2's for quite a while, looking at a new generation Rover for my next vehicle (for on and offroad use). Wondered what your shared experience is with the LR3/LR4 vs Range Rover Sport for off-road use. Other than cargo capacity, how do they match up against one another (overhang, maneuverability, etc.)? Love the videos! Nick, Miami Valley Land Rover Society
The stiffer suspension in the RRS is certainly a plus for those who like to give their car a workout on the blacktop ;-) Offroad it means a little less flex but certainly no less capable as the short wheel base can be a bonus in certain situations. Less overhang in the RRS but carrying capacity is an issue for family transport.
i think the land rovers in this video look so brilliant because of the small rims with offroad tires and the other offroad equipment. the land rovers you see on the road look so stupid with these aggressive looking low profile tires
Black Betty came out for a very special weekend and as usual did lots of showing off. May have got a little carried away though and snapped a CV and had to retire late on the second day.
BB is still around Sylvain - has just been having a bit of a rest while we finish the build on our Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Defender SVX. We are hoping to have both of them appear in videos together occasionally in future ;-)
wow this video has more air time than a crusty demons promo video.... must get tiresome getting thrown around the car because it has no flex.... i think ill get a patrol thanks cant beat solid axle and diff locks
They are actually one of the most comfortable cars offroad you'll ever ride in. One of the reasons that I went back to a defender from the RRS is that I found the offroading wasn't really a challenge. Felt like I was driving a lounge chair around
Fantastic video as always, a lot of nice articulation going on there. And great to see Black Betty out again. Big thumbs up!.
Great to see, thanks for sharing your impressive camera work.

Another great highlights vid put together. And good to see Betty is still copping it and providing awesome shots! Keep them coming Jamie.
Thx Prez ;-)
love your work...keep it up
Love your videos!!
Thx mate. More coming your way very soon
Great to see the Discos in action.
Bloody awesome!
Very capable rovers!
Excellent fellas.
just wanted to say I like your videos and that's for the ad to your circle
Thanks mate - we are working hard to continually add new content and different trails and vehicles to the mix.
Great video

Mostly shot around the powerline track at Lithgow

Where are the recovery points on those new style ARB bumpers.... Did they hide the recovery points?
What about wheel size of the white D4 in the video at min 2.03?
Seems mud terrain
It's a V8 with the smaller brake package from the 2.7 TDV6, running BMW 17" rims and KM2s.
Is Black Betty still alive???????
OMG!!! What a great surprise!!!!

Rover porn on youtube.... Thanks for the vids.
One of the reasons we started this was that there wasn't enough good LR action available online and not enough good quality 4WD porn in general
I have watched everything you have produced and enjoy all of them. Thanks for taking the time to do so.
What's wrong with Black Betty? I don't see her anymore in your videos ?

Oh nice! You are the owner of BB and Def SVX, great... Your Def is amazing, good job. Your videos are inspiring. Thanks.
