So every year there is a RUclips video with someone advising to turn off all the features. Other than the sensible advice to turn off background app refresh for apps you don’t need constantly refreshing It’s 2023 just enjoy your device!!!
Yeah. I go thru and pick the things I want to turn off and which I don’t: I’m not turning off the dynamic island stuff or the always on display. But I will use some of the other tips
let people do what they want with their wildly overpriced devices. not everybody can buy the newest phone every year, so they want to preserve the battery's health.
I turn off background app refresh completely and everything still works perfectly fine

I didn't see a description of how to turn off standby mode. Did I miss something?
Okay, I found another video that showed how to do that by just going into settings ... scrolling down to "Standby"... and then going into that screen and toggling it off. At least that's in iOS 17.

When ios17 was not released my battery health was only 84% and when ios 17 was released, I updated ios 17 and in just 5 days it dropped from 84% to 81%. Really bad. I just hope apple has a free battery.

Most of the time the battery dies faster is because of the software not the hardware or the battery itself
Readers cannot do much with this information. How long have you had the phone? How often do you charge your phone? At what percentage do you charge your phone? What type of telephone is this? These can all be reasons why you are ruining your battery. All my batteries have always been 100% after a year. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is still 100% even after 15 months.

@@Tha-King-Arthurit’s not rlly at 100% find out how many cycles. My 13 pm says 85% but 769 cycles. So it should be below 80%. But the it says it’s around 81% on the battery checker I use. After two years

Battler consumption least to greatest. 4g lte then 5g standalone then 5g non standalone. SA 5g uses less battery then NSA 5g cuz it isn’t using both 5g and lte at the same time which consumes more
